An Extract from the new Spinoff series: 'Unbroken'
How can love function without someone there to break it first. People sometimes misjudge what they don't understand but for me it was more then just a misunderstanding. I was by myself just admiring the scenery that laid before me before someone shouted my name.
" are you coming Maria or what?"
" coming, wait a minute" I reply a smile upon my face. I quickly stared back towards the horizon before getting off the roof top.
It's my birthday and today I turned nineteen. I know it sounds silly but I only a few years ago I turned away from friends and family. Today was today where I was suppose to leave my past behind but maybe I just want to hold onto them one last time.
I land on my feet and grinned.
" I told you I was coming, can't you wait?" I laugh and punching him in a mockery tone on the arm. He winches but laughs with me and soon wraps his arm around my shoulders. Smiling I lean my head on he's shoulders and he kisses me on the forehead.
" I need you.. I love you" I say so only he understood.
He smiles and pulls me in closer.
" I love you too, and Happy birthday"
" thanks"
