NOVEMBER 5TH, 2016
"So," Mia started talking while taking a bite of food. "are we still on for Crish's house party tonight?" The 2 were sat at a table in Olive Garden, enjoying some lunch. "I mean, I'm going if you're going." Ross replied. A bunch of their group was getting together for a house party at Crish's- no, not the app, an actual party at her actual house. Jesus. Some of them couldn't make it, but those who could were planing on getting together, catching up, maybe watching some movies as they hadn't all hung out together in awhile since everyone was seemingly busy recently.
LATER-
Around 7pm, people began arriving to Crish's house. There was Brooke, Jeffrey, Shelby, Tom, Bri, Emma, Ross, Mia1, Kaelyn, Lauren, Maddie, Harry, and Norman. Becca and KJ were supposed to come later on, but everyone else couldn't make it tonight. After everyone arrived, they were all in the living room sitting around, talking amongst themselves. The TV was on in the background but nobody was really paying attention. Suddenly, a loud alert sound came ringing from the TV, making everyone jump. It was some boring "important" news broadcast that nobody was paying much attention to. Harry picked up the remote and shut the TV off as everyone continued talking.
"Hey, I'll be right back guys, I'm grabbing a glass of water." Shelby said, standing up. "Alright," Bri replied. Shelby walked towards the kitchen. Everyone quickly began talking and laughing again. The sound of a loud crash stilled the laughter in the room as everyone went quiet. "Shelby?" Tom called out, breaking the chilling silence. No reply. "What the fuck just happened?" Tom quickly stood, followed by Brooke, Jess, Mia 1, and Ross. They quickly ran into the kitchen, while the rest of the group stayed sat around Crish's living room. Suddenly, they heard a loud gasp. "S-someone! Help us!" Brooke called out. Everyone hurried into the kitchen with concern.
On the tile floor, Shelby lay unconscious with a small trickle of blood starting to form on her forehead. Tom was shaking her with panic, trying to wake her up. Brooke was pacing with tears streaming down her face, Jeffrey trying to comfort her. Ross had his arms around Mia 1 while she stared at Shelby in fear. "Oh my god," Lauren shakily said, covering her mouth in shock. "What do we do?" Others were starting to bend down to see if she was okay. "I- I have nyquil!" Maddie said. "Maddie shut up!" Bri said. Emma reached down and grabbed Bri's hand. Everyone was in a panic, trying to wake up Shelby and stop the bleeding. "Okay, I-I'm calling 911," Kaelyn dialed the number on her phone and waited.
The phone rang, and rang- and nobody answered. "Nobody answered..." Kaelyn hung up the phone. "What the hell? What do we do now?!" Brooke cried. "She's losing a lot of blood and she's still unconscious we- we have to drive her to the hospital." Emma said. "Okay, we need to lift her really carefully, make sure to hold onto her head and don't move her too much." Tom gently lifted Shelby and carried her to the car. As they were coming outside, Becca and KJ pulled up. They got out of the car in shock. "What happened!?" Becca gasped. "She fell and hit her head, were leaving for the hospital right now." Bri frantically said.
All of them couldn't fit into one car, so they piled up in 3 separate ones. Tom sat in the backseat of one car, Shelby laying across his lap. He held a towel to her head. Ross was driving and Mia 1 was in the passenger seat, along with Brooke sitting in the back with Shelby and Tom.
