"Josh, we need to get out of Harrisburg." Julia said, driving down a back road. "Do you think that the rest of the world is going to magically be better than this?" He said, looking at a map. "No, but maybe there's places with less dead." They we're covered in sweat and blood. "We're on E, what do we do?" They were running low on gas. "It's okay, we'll make it. Just keep driving we can't afford to stop now." A puff of fumes came from the car as they came to a halt. "Shit," Josh said. "Well, we're stopped."
They got out of the car. "Now what?" Julia asked. Josh sighed and examined the map. "This way," he pointed towards the woods. "That should take us south. Through the woods is a shopping center, maybe there will be some cars over there. Or at least something." Julia agreed to go that way, and they started off into the woods.

"Holy fuck," Norman said, peering over the edge. "How are we going to get out of here?" The group was still broken over Shelby, especially Tom. He was still shaking and crying, glancing back at the window. "I-I don't know. Don't you think maybe we should just wait up here? I mean, what if the military or helicopters or, someone comes. They would see us." KJ said. Kaelyn shook her head. "No... no. We can't just wait up here for someone. We have no food, no water, no shelter. We'll die up here before anyone even comes- IF anyone even comes." She said. The group continued trying to figure out how to get down, each coming up with new ideas that probably wouldn't work.
Mia1, Ross, and Maddie were still in the closet at the hospital, waiting for things to calm down outside the door. "Okay, if we survive-" Maddie started, only to be interrupted by Ross. "WHEN we survive." He said. "We're going to need food, supplies, weapons. How're we going to get those?" It was quieting down in the hall. "We can try and make it to the cafeteria. Maybe get in some of the rooms, grab some more medical supplies?" Mia1 whispered. "Food is most important, let that be first priority. If we're able to, we'll look for more medical supplies but if not we have some to start us off." Ross said. They all nodded.
Ross slowly and gently opened the door, holding his scissors he found outward. "Okay, clear." He whispered. The 3 of them shuffled out, back to back. Ross motioned for them to follow, and they all headed down the dark corridor towards the cafeteria. Upon reaching the cafeteria, they quietly opened the door. Inside was full of the dead. "Shit," Mia1 whispered. "Go back, go back!" They began backing up, but the dead were already close to them. "It's too late, we have to fight them!" Maddie yelled.
Ross ran and stabbed one with the scissors in the heart. "Why aren't they dying?" He said, trying to catch his breath. Mia1 and Maddie were hitting at the dead with anything they could find, metal chairs, broken glass. "I don't know!" Maddie replied, hitting one in the head with the chair. Blood splattered all over her face and body as she stepped back. "That's it," she said. "Hit them in the head. Then they die." She finished, hitting another one in the head. Ross and Mia1 took note and continued to take out the rest of the dead that way.
By the end, they were covered in sweat and blood. Mia1 was crying. "Don't cry. We're alive." Ross said, pulling her close. She pushed away from his touch with a disgusted look on her face. "How can you say that?! We just killed people, and you are okay with it?" She yelled. Maddie shook her head. "No, they aren't people. They used to be, but not anymore." She said, wiping the blood off her cheek. The 3 of them grabbed all the food they could find and shoved it in the bag they found in the closet. Now they just had to get out of the hospital...
