"I really miss you" Maya starts.
"I know babe, you know how how it is" Josh says.
"When are you coming back?" She says into the phone.
"Tomorrow, and when i get back i promise well go out" Josh says.
A giggle erupts on the other end of the line.
"Hey i gotta go" Josh says as he abruptly ends the call.
Maya sighed and walked over to her piano.
She began to hum.
The tune was perfect, it just needed lyrics.
Lyrics. The hardest thing to come up with.
Her phone began to ring.
Riley.
"Hey pumpkin" Maya said softly.
"Hey peaches!" Riley yelled into the phone.
"Whats up" Maya said.
"You will never believe what i found out," Riley exclaims. "Farkles going to propose to me"
"Really?" Maya asked "How do you know"
"I overheard him talking to Lucas about it". Riley squealed.
"Thats great Riles" Maya said with no much excitement.
"Whats wrong peaches" Riley said through the phone.
Maya sighed "Its Josh. Lately he hasnt been home and im always home alone and i feel lonely. Josh and i have been dating for 2 and a half years now and all he wants from me is sex and ive never had a real deep conversation with him. And he still hasnt said 'I love you' to me"
"Aww peaches, i didnt know you felt that way, you know my uncle josh loves you. He's just busy is all" Riley said.
"Yeah, youre right Riles" Maya said.
"Get some sleep its getting late," Riley said "Goodnight"
"Goodnight"
She walked over to the piano and hummed tune again and came up with something.
