Kara (Red Queen series)

My family was just taken from our houses by Sentinels to stand and watch as the royals cross through the sea. All Reds despise Silvers, no surprise knowing how brutal they are to us. The Sentinel holding me has both armor-covered hands pressing into my shoulders as I can just barely see my older sister Darcy’s long blonde hair draping down her back, shining in the sun, along with the younger twins, Warren and Delta, both with light brown hair with Warren’s  cut to be very short and Delta’s barely reaching her shoulders while they're held by their waists as they are lanky with long pencil legs with their shoulders too high for the Sentinels to get a good grip on them. My littlest brother Barry is being pushed in his wheelchair with my mother on his left being held by the shoulders as I am reaching to scratch her head through her black hair just like mine, reaching about halfway down her back. My father is on the right, looking behind him to see all of his kids with his shining blue eyes looking into mine until he turns his head back, his shaggy, blonde hair being blown in the wind. We arrive at the boardwalk as I see the graffiti my best friend Kiki spray-painted all across the dirt-covered building, bringing some color to the wasteland called the Stilts.
