My grandmother had driven me all the way from Queens to get the deal done. She had warned me to keep this quick and not to attract any attention to myself. She stuffed the drugs in a smaller pocket located on the inside side of my bag, making sure none of it was visible, and shoved me along to wait for a mysterious being. I sat on a bench by myself at a bus stop in Manhattan, waiting for Wolf. I was so anxious that I thought I might puke since I had no idea who I was about to meet. Around two am, a boy about my age, covered from head to toe in tattoos, approached me slowly. Unsure of what to do, I looked into the inside my bag and began to pull out the zip lock baggie hidden in my bag. He grabbed my arm forcefully, trying to stop me, “What are you doing? Are you insane?” He asked in a hushed tone. He looked around to see if anyone saw me and ran his fingers through his hair, while I pulled away my arm quickly, “I’m just giving you what you came here for” I replied while looking into his emerald eyes, they were as green as the swimming pools in mid-July. “Not here” He replied in a whisper to follow him. We ended up in a secluded parking lot just around the corner. “Show me the cash, Wolf” I said sternly. He dug into his pockets and pulled out the money needed for his substances. As he passed over the money, I handed over the baggie of cocaine. I watched as he snorted it up as loud as a baby piglet. His eyes were bloodshot, his nose was starting to bleed, and I could see his hand was trembling and it wasn’t even that cold out so I wondered why he was so shaken up. I couldn’t help but stare. He was a sloppy mess. He looked so tired and beautiful at the same time. These drugs were ruining him; I couldn’t be a part of my grandmother’s terrible scheme anymore. She didn’t care if she ruined lives; she was just in it for all the money. I swiped the cocaine and said, “You don’t have to do any of this”. He looked at me as if all hope was lost for him. He was silent for a minute before standing up and walking towards me, he struck me against my face. I stood there stunned while holding my left cheek. "Give me the drugs. Now." He spat. "No," I replied irritatedly. He forcefully grabbed my arm and dragged me towards his car.
