Taissa's POV
I can't sleep and the flight attendant keeps staring at me. I'm so nervous about Amber meeting everybody, especially Evan. Amber's very sensitive and Evan's an asshole to most people he meets. Hopefully he's at least civil with her. He better not be an asshole, and if he is, I'll go all Tate Langdon on his ass. I'm protective, what can I say.
I was rudely interrupted by the captain speaking over the speakers.
"We will be landing in Hollywood, California in approximately 20 minutes."
Finally, I'm getting claustrophobic in here. I should probably wake up Amber and mom. I gently shake Amber's shoulder. Damn, this girl is a heavy sleeper. I push her shoulder a little harder. Damn, this girl could sleep through a hurricane. I push her arm that's holding her head up, and she hits the table with a grunt while opening her eyes to give me a death stare.
"Thanks for the concussion." She says with sarcasm obvious in her voice.
"Anytime." I say with a cheesy smile.
"You woke me up because?" She says while rubbing her head.
"We're landing." I say while looking back out the window.
"Oh, thanks."
"Yeah."
-After we get off the plane-
"It's so warm here." Amber says while looking around.
"We haven't even gotten out of the airport yet." I say while laughing.
"That reminds me, who's picking us up?" Amber asks with a questioning look on her face.
Ambers POV
"My boss." She says while looking on the carousel for her bags.
Once we get our bags we walk out of the airport, and we are met by the gust of hot air. I look at Taissa who I guess is looking for her boss. Then she walks towards a guy leaning against a range rover. She starts looking somewhat upset while talking to him Then she finally walks back over to us.
"That's our ride" She says while picking up her bags and motioning for us to do the same.
I look at him again. He looks familiar, but I can't place where I've seen him. Blonde hair, blue eyes. I can tell he's pretty well built. Thats when it finally hit me. That is not her boss.
