Candace pushed pass the hundreds of other angsty teens in annoyance. They all have classes they need to get to right? So why aren't they hurrying? Candace holds her books impossibly closer. She can't blame them today, no, as she feels the same way. New kids, there are hardly any new kids. And they aren't normal, definitely not. But why? Candace has no clue, but she can feel it, and she hasn't even set eyes upon them. Finally reaching Ms. Dukes door, Candace shoves her oversized glasses up the bridge of her nose once again before clambering through the narrow door to said English class.

The older woman of late 40's greets Candace with a toothy a grin. It was no secret that the pudgy woman didn't like kids. But for some reason that Candace couldn't fathom, was that the old lady liked her. Candace returns the smile as best as she can without having to talk to the ignorant woman. The pudgy lady always had something of no importance to say to her, mostly about unfair pay or a kid constantly creating a disturbance in her class. Candace sits at her regular table and organizes her books. She takes a hair band of her thin wrist and throws her curly golden locks in a tangled and messy bun, but Candace has never been known to care for her looks. Or the attention her looks get her.

Candace sighs in annoyance quietly when Ms. Dukes scratchy high-pitched voice meets her ears, "Candace darling, did you hear about the new kids? I hope they behave as well as you do, god knows we all need more students like you."

Candace forces a fake smile across her lips as she feels her left brow twitch in irritation, "I hope they are... nice as well Ms. Dukes."

The fat woman nods in satisfaction of getting her daily dose of respect from Candace and leaves her alone, which makes Candace finally relax and fight back the mind splitting head ache that is trying to sneak upon her. The first bell rings and most of the students have just filed in and the room is filled with mindless chatter as Candace merely stares out the window in gloom. It's dark and dreary outside with no chance of sun poking through the angry clouds, the weather effectively dampens her mood.

Ms. Dukes shrill voice rings through the room and drowns the meaningless chatter. The plump woman smiles and gestures towards the two new students standing in front who stare at the class boredly. As if they've done this a million times before. Candace's eyes are instantly drawn the first girl closest to the annoying teacher. She was definitely taller than Candace at least by a few inches if not a foot. She was tall and lean, she had long legs that guys liked and girls wanted. She had beautiful olive skin and the brightest green eyes, her wavy gold hair was braided and resting lazily over her left shoulder. She had full pink lips, a strong roundish jaw and a cute button nose. She had long lashes that cast thin shadows across her cheeks. When Candace's baby blue orbs meet with the mystery girls green ones, sparks seemed to fly. Candace feels her cheeks pinken and looks down at her notes that she had been taking with embarrassment, something she hadn't felt in a long time. Why now? She thought in confusion.

"These are two of our new students, Belle Havard and Dania Havard. Belle, you may sit by..... Candace!"

Candace sighs irritably and rubs her temples, the head ache crashing into her skull. Belle, the one she had been ogling sits down beside her with a smirk. To not make the situation awkward, Candace's eyes glance at Belle's sister, Dania. Dania was just as beautiful but there was a stark difference, Dania had very long straight midnight black hair and porcelain light white skin, her eyes were a dark sharp brown, and she was a few inches shorter with more notable curves, she seemed more curt than her sister. Belle cleared her throats and Candace blushes being caught staring at the latter's sister. Belle had one elegantly and perfectly plucked brow raised in amusement, a smirk playing at her lips. "Dania, isn't into girls, love."

Candace blinks once, then twice, Belle had an accent, and it was... attractive. Candace gasps in surprise when the words finally registered, Candace can't hold back the jumble of words passing through her mouth, "No! I- It wasn't- I didn't- well- I wasn't staring at her because of that!"
