the original first chapter

Hello readers I haven't updated because this setting and how the stories is going is boring so this is how the story was suppose to go, but first I wrote it out  then changed it as I typed it but I like the writing one better the original one😊 but anyways here you go

Taylors POV

"Taylor I think brad likes me omg!" I rolled my eyes at her. I was never one to fan girl over fuck boys or any boy for that fact. "Sara please do us both a favor and shut it for a few minutes goodness!" She pouted and sat back in her seat.

"Come on Sara time for us to head out to school" she nodded and grabbed her stuff and we headed to the bus stop.

After the song was playing I plugged in my speaker. I can’t wait to get my own car cause of weirdos on this bus creeps me out. Anyway as I as I got on the bus started toward highschool.

I decided since we are there is a lot of traffic I mine as well take a nap. Then sara shook me awake and Then a guy with glasses walked passed by me and he smelled really good. (He is the smartest kid in my class I am the second smartest) he sat in his seat and closed his eyes

He smiled at me, I think his name was Kaleb or something with a k. I had a small crush on him in middle school but I think I got over it also Sara would kill me if she found out I like a nerd which is odd cause I am one myself.

Then Sara started to speak again “this weekend we should go to the mall” she giggled. I rolled my eyes  I have to ask my parents if-“ the bus slammed on brakes and the driver get up and runs off the bus. Others did the same so did the guy with glasses and I thought I should leave too so I took Sara’s hand and we ran to see what happened.

All I see is people running and explosions happening!!!! Then I see a guy being eating by a man with half his jaw missing and he looked crazy. I must of stepped on something cause it looked at me and GROWLED. I screamed and started running the opposite direction.

I looked behind me to Sara nowhere to be found and I started to scream her name till a pair of big hands covered my mouth and picking me up. “shhhhhh they will hear you if you do that” the stranger finally let me go and I turned around to see the guy with glasses.

‘Attention all citizens of California, a deadly virus has been spreading This is a state emergency plz evacuate Beverly hills , Hollywood plz start packing now the military will come to pick you people up in 3day's.’ it was loud so loud it felt like a million gunshots

" I have to find my parents!" as I ran through the woods and I hear footsteps behind me and I knew it was the guy in the glasses.

I finally found a phone booth and after I put the quarter in I dialed my mom number.

‘Your call went to the automatic voice mail system. ... ended’

I kicked the phone booth and screamed in frustration and sat down and started to cry. I didn’t even care the guy in the glasses was watching me. “I’m sorry for everything that is happening to you but we have to get a move on before dark because I seen a lot of movies and they are more active at night. Also by the way I’m Kayden” he held out his hand and I shook it “I’m Taylor”.

30 minutes later

We were still walking but finally we came across a neighborhood his neighborhood to be exact. I saw a girl with beautiful hair and then I saw two others another and a boy he was cute not as much as Kayden though.  “yo guys I would like you to meet Taylor” they looked at me and smiled. “my name is Dimitri and my sisters Emma and hazel” they looked at me with this strange confused looked”

I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood with Kayden. A car pulled up and my mom gets out and rushed to me "Where's dad" she begin to cry. "Th-the virus got him and they killed him right there in front of me" “your lying where is he!!! Why are you here and he isn’t!!” I began to sob uncontrollably. "Taylor! We’re leaving in 2 hours so pack what you need" I looked at Kayden shook my head “not without them we can trust them he saved me” I then took his hand and stormed off with tears in my eyes.

As we walked I saw the hoard coming through and I stopped dead in my tracks but Kayden bumped into me and I stepped on glass and several of those things came rushing toward us. With Kayden’s quick thinking he pulled me and we started to run and I saw Emma as we turned the corner looking at us “run!!!! Emma!!!” she looked confused till she saw the hoard and started running too. I was so fast I lost my footing but got back up but was pulled back down by one of them. Emma came running back and batted its head in. I got up and started to walk but then Emma gasped “your bitten stay away from me” she said as she held a thick branch. Kayden came back with Dimitri and they seen the bite and backed away “I don’t feel anything I’m fine!” my voice was breaking as I looked at them. Kaden had a gun pointed at my head.

'Well I had a good life' I thought.
