Oh God.
My teachers are going to kill me. And it's all because of this kid over here. Sam. What a name for a troublesome kid like him.
"Thanks a lot." I say and run as fast as my legs could carry me.
"Hey, Caroline, wait."
I didn't bother listening to him. I don't want to get any later to school than I already am.
After five or so minutes of running, I finally arrived at school; huffing and puffing. I run to class. I realize it's English class first. Great, Ms. Rowland. My favorite teacher in the entire school.
I quickly walk into my classroom, avoiding as much eye contact as possible. I reach my seat and just as I was about to sit, my favorite teacher in the entire school interrupted me.
"Oh, hello there, Caroline Hedges. I don't remember letting you in my class."
And, I just stood there, dumbfounded. What is she going to do to me today?
"No one is allowed to sit inside my classroom if they are late. And, you know that very well, don't you? You are not special or different from any of my students, are you? So, Caroline, your class today will be outside."
What a great way to start my day. I get my bag and walk out of the classroom. I sit in a specific way in the corridor so that I am able to listen and attend the class but Ms. Rowland won't be able to see me from where she is standing.
That period goes slow. But when it was over, I quickly sneaked into my next classroom before the teacher came. And when it was time for first break, I grab my sandwich and make my way to the canteen and there in one of the corners, I see him.
Wait... What is he doing here?
