(Ryan's pov)

I sit behind Y/n everyday and everyday she does something thay makes me fall for her a little more.

She turned to say something to her friend and her eyes caught mine, she blushed and her sentence cut off, "Uh, hi, Ryan."

I smiled softly, "Hey, Y/n."

She nibbled on her nails as she turned back around and stared down at her book. I sighed, 'Why does our conversations only ever contain, hey, and how are you's...'

I looked in my backpack at the rose I brought for her and frowned at it, "What's that?"

I yelped and looked up to see Jonathan smirking from beside me, I zipped it up fast, "Nothing, Del. Just a valentine's gift for someone."

Y/n froze in front of me then raised her hand, "Mr. Martin, may I go to the bathroom?" Her voice sounded off, not all cheery like it usually does.

Mr. Martin nodded and handed her a pass before she made her way out, holding herself like she didn't feel good or something.

I looked at my bag again and 10 minutes passed, and still, Y/n hadn't come back.

I asked Mr. Martin if I could run to the bathroom real quick and grabbed my back pack as I ran down to the closest restroom.

I heard sniffling and Y/n talking to herself.

(Y/n's pov)

"Stupid. Like I could've possibly had a chance with him... Of course he has a girlfriend..." I wiped away the stupid tears and hugged myself as I headed out of the bathroom.

I ran right into a wall, well he felt solid like a wall. My eyes widened as I looked up into Ryan's eyes.

He was frowning, "Y/n, I don't have a girlfriend."

My face heated up as I looked down at the ground but I gasped when I saw what he held in his hand. He was holding a peach rose.

"Y/n, I've liked you for so long, since the first day I met you. You never say much to me but I'm hoping we can change that." He pushed a piece of hair behind my ear and brushed his thumb across my cheek, making me sigh.

"Will you be my Valentine, Y/n?" He lifted the rose and I smiled softly before nodding slightly, making him grin.

I took the rose and smiled down at it before I looked up at him and threw my arms around his neck and kissed him.

He held me tight and kissed me back, 'I had the perfect boy somehow.'

He pulled back and rested his forehead against mine, smiling, he ran his hands up and down my back as we rocked side to side as if we were dancing.

"Ryan?"

"Hmm?" He had his eyes closed.

I kissed him gently, "I've wanted this since I met you."

He grinned and grabbed my hand before he started walking towards the double doors that leaded out to the parking lot, "Where are we going?"

He chuckled and kissed my head, "I've mm taking you to lunch, Baby girl."

I giggled and we skipped class to go get burgers and shakes, and I've never been so happy in my life.

And it was all because of him.
