They sat in silence waiting for someone to break it. Orchid gazed to the floor piecing together all the tiny bits she had in her mind about her fathers fiancé Vivian. The way she always ate the same thing for breakfast, how she went from skinny jeans to denim skirts and then dresses, the way she went to work in one outfit but came home in another-that bugged her the most. Her mouth drops open she then slowly looks up and turns to Vivian. "Are-? A-? Am-? Umm..." she stuttered awkwardly trying to be somewhat polite. "Hm?" Vivian replied her eyes widen as she hears orchids voice. Orchid paused trying to figure out a way to word what she wants to ask. "I'm going to be a big sister aren't I?" She questioned almost certain she was correct. "Yes... yes you are." Vivian answered smiling softly. "And that's why we moved? That's the only reason?!" Orchid added folding her arms. "Yes... and no..." her father answered before adding "we've been needing this for a long time, orchid. I have an office now! Well it's actually the basement,Vivs idea." Orchid stares at him for a moment unsure how to react eventually she stands up and walks away. "Which rooms mine?" She questions grabbing a box with her name on. "The one next to the bathroom." Vivian answered.
Orchid made her way up the stairs eventually lading at the top of the hallway she stops before turning left and pushed open a door. It reveals a blue and white bathroom. Inside is a large bath, a toilet,a sink with a mirror and a cabinet. She smiles widely at the sight and the thought of hiding secrets in the draws like she had done in her own home. That was the reason she went a little panicky when her father explained they were moving. She turned away and stepped to a wooden door with a black key pad. She smiled again pushing it open. Her bed, desk and draws already there but no wardrobe in sight, instead a closet on the opposite side to her bed. Her face lights up suddenly and she walks to a window opening the pink polka dotted curtains and staring out to see her surroundings. Scattered houses,a row of shops including designer stores and a woods which could be the perfect place for a morning run or even a camp out with friends if she makes any. Orchid was loving it. She places the box onto the window before opening it. The box contains two note books,a dairy,a small porcelain doll her grandmother had given her for Christmas a year ago and a friend ship bracelet-her and her primary friends have similar designs.
