Chantel practically screams her defence, pleading for anyone to believe her.

Chantel Rofak is a 16 year old, who was recently accused of buying and using Joy. Her excuse was that she was depressed, but her doctor refused her claims.
She had a slim figure and dark skin, matching with her ink like, thick curly hair. Her overall figure slightly clashed with the bright red lipstick which she wore.
However, I was too busy inspecting my bottled emotion to care about the TV right now.
The brightly coloured bottled echoed my addiction with the certain emotion. The lavender glow aimlessly danced within the bottle, as I stirred the container.
Slowly popping the lid off, I brought the bottle up to my lips and consumed the warm glow of liquid Joy. A pleasant feeling washed through, and the world around me seemed to brighten up. The bottle was set onto the desk nearest to me, as I watched my lightly coloured skin glow.
I stared at myself in the reflection of my mirror. My winter grey eyes were finally showing signs of lightening up and a smile was no longer forcing itself onto me.

The TV rambled in the background after my name, but I was incapable of feeling anything other than Joy at that moment. An atrocious blaring burst sounded itself from the floor under me, and soon after I was being taken away by men in uniform, with a feeling of happiness being drained from me.
