Chapter 1: Road to hell

Today I woke up by the sound of my annoying alarm and the sweet smell of pancakes. I got dressed and dragged myself to the living room. I ate the whole stack of pancakes by myself. Then drove to school, halfway there I realized I left my bag at home. When I drove back to my house and got my bag I finally got to school. I saw my friends, Melissa, Anita, and Emma, holding posters.

"What are those for? I asked "We're planning a bake sale so we can earn money and maybe go on a vacation, want to help?" Emma asked. "Yeah sure, when's the bake sale?" I asked. "On Friday, we have to go to class now, ok bye. Oh, and here's the recipe" Emma said. "but I don't want to make cookies" I replied " me too" said Melissa "ok, why don't you work at McDonalds then" I suggested. "YES!" said a eager Melissa.

Later that day me and Melissa went to McDonalds to try to get a interview, luckily were going to do it tomorrow at 3:30pm. Melissa was so excited.

Today I awoke with excitement because me and Melissa had our interviews at McDonalds. Melissa was waiting downstairs for me to picky her up and drive us to McDonalds, so we got in my car and, we were about halfway there and...and... . We were entering highway 14 and it was super foggy. "I'm so excited!!" Melissa said "me too I can't wait to get free McDonalds!!!!!" I squealed, and me and Melissa kept talking about how excited we were, and I was paying attention to the road the whole entire time. When we were approaching highway 23 we heard a lot of honking and Melissa said she saw a figure get hit by a car. Which made a lot of traffic. As we were trying to get over what we saw a big HUGE 16 wheeler truck drive directly in to our SUV. I remember honking and seeing cars pass by people with their mouths wide open and I look at the truck it was smoking, then I turned around and saw Melissa covered in blood and so was I- then I suddenly I passed out.
