Chapter 5: Half a mile

when I stepped foot on camp the first people I saw  were Melissa, Emma, and Anita. My eyes filled with tears my body in shock and my heart with joy. "you lived!" I said as I ran to Melissa to give her a hug "ho-how are you alive?" Melissa stuttered. "to be honest I don't even know" I replied as I was going to reunite with Emma and Anita. "Rick, where is T-dog and Merle?" i asked "i think they should be back soon" said Rick. "hey, Glenn can you show me around?" i asked Glenn "umm... yeah sure". "so..... whos that Rick guy?" i asked "oooooooooooo" said Glenn, my face started to turn bright red. "hehehe, well you're set with the area, now let me show you the people" said Glenn "you've met Rick already" said Glenn as he smerked to me "yeah, um hi I'm Alise" I said "I'm Rick, nice to meet you" Rick said with a smile. I turned around and mouthed to Glenn "oh my god" then smiled, then Glenn chuckled. Then  Glenn showed me around some more, I met Andrea, Dale, and this one guy. 

So anyways  that one guy was sort of like love at first sight. As Glenn was showing me around to meet people he introduces me to Daryl, it was amazing. When me and Glenn were walking up to him he was holding a crossbow with a dead deer next to him, I didn't really mind since in not a vegetarian."ok , Alise this is Daryl, Daryl Alise" Said Glenn "hi! I'm Alise" I said trying to keep my excitement in but failing miserably "I'm Daryl, it very nice to meet you" said Daryl,  he kept talking after that but it was all a blur to me I was to busy being lost in his eyes. Then Glenn caught on, on me looking into his eyes Glenn then nudged me so I don't look that obvious. when Glenn was walking me back to were my van was, I told  Glenn "oh my god. Who is he?!?" "wow, I mean you're both single soooo" said Glenn as he chuckled nervously. As we were waking to the van we heard a gunshot then screaming about half a mile away. Me and Glenn started running to were the sound came from. Once we approached were it came from it was horrific. Dead walkers everywhere, gut everywhere, and most terrifying of all Melissa, Anita, Emma all have gunshot wounds, all of them on the floor. I had lost them once again.
