Callie's POV
The ride to school was.. talkative, you could say. Ally went on and on about how great dinner was with Harry and the rest of his group of friends. Well, mainly just Harry. I can easily tell that she likes Harry but this type of thing happens every week. Ally meets a cute boy, they hang out, she likes him and won't shut up about him until the next one comes around. My best friend is not a whore.. as she phrases it, she just likes male attention, and a lot of it.
This time when she went on about Harry it made me feel a little different than the rest. Maybe because he lied to her and the rest of the boys and came to check on me instead of running his errands, and by doing that he prevented John from what he was about to do to me.
Once again Harry Styles saved me.
Ally then mentioned that Niall and I would be cute together, but I didn't want Niall. I wanted Harry.
No you don't. Dating is stupid and pointless.
Plus Ally likes him and I wouldn't want to ruin that for her.
And why would Harry want me over her?
Ally is perfect. Blonde, blue eyes, and outgoing. So once again, I push my feelings aside and stick to my usual reply when she tries to set me up with some one, "dating is pointless."
Once I pull into the Senior parking lot we both get out. Before I know it Ally locks arms with me and forcefully drags me over in the one direction we always seem to go.
Towards boys.
Before I even have time to make one of my killer excuses we are all together.
"Good morning boys!" Ally says as outgoing and flirtatious as ever. She shoots Harry a wink without even noticing.
"Hey guys!" I don't know what came over me to speak up but I kinda like it. We all chit chat for a little while before the bell.
"Good morning loves" I'm curious of why they all have accents?
Oh well.
Liam, Niall, Zayn, Louis and I all walk together to the fact we all have classes around each others. But Ally and Harry walk together in a separate direction. I know they have their first class together, but that feeling forms in the pit of my stomach again?
What could it possibly be?

At cheer practice Ally continues her rant on Harry.
Like shut up! I know how great he his already!
The coach tells us to get into our stunt groups. I am with Ally of course. She is a base and I am a flyer. We set up to do an extension lib full down. I get up there perfectly, but on the way down I " accidentally" kick Ally in the face. Ally high pitched scream fills the gym and everyone stops what they're doing. I feel bad, I was just so tired of her talking about Harry.
"Callie! Why did you do that?!?!" screeches Ally.
" I didn't mean to! It's not like I did it on purpose!" I yell back,
"Callie why don't you take Ally to the nurse to get some ice." says coach calmly.
"Sure." I reply.
The short walk to the nurse's office was quiet... more like silent. Ally breaks the silence by saying," Callie, why did you do it? I know it wasn't an accident. We have cheered together since middle school, and you have never done that before. Why?"
"I was just so annoyed with you. You kept going on and on about Harry. It was so frustrating. I am sorry." I reply softly.
"You know you could have just told me that instead off kicking me in the face." she replies while laughing.
I laugh to and then remember, moments like this are why we are best friends.
*Flashback*
It was the night of the Eighth Grade Formal. The first formal dance of my school career. It was supposed to be a great night but Ally and I were in a huge fight.
Garrett McAdams, the cutest boy in our grade, finally asked me out to go to the formal and I couldn't turn down the offer. I told Mom and Dad and they were really eager to help pick out my dress.
I miss those days.
The next days went by smoothly. The day before the dance is when it all happened.
I came to school that day and everybody avoided me, half of them wouldn't make eye contact with me. I could always hear the occasional whispers of the students.
"Ewh, why is she even here, she's such a freak." Some of them said.
A freak? What are they talking about?
When I walked to the lunchroom the stares and whispers continued. I looked over the lunchroom and saw Ally flirting to a boy sitting next to her, the usual. But it wasn't just any boy it was.. Garrett!
My Garrett!
