Time Turner

Chapter 1

I stepped onto the train with Ginny and we went to find a compartment, the trio had already left to find a compartment for them and talk about something. Me and Ginny went into compartment with Lavender and Pavarti, I didn't really like Lavender but me and Parvati would hang out went I wasn't with the trio or Ginny of course. Ginny was my best friend, yeah she was a year below me but I still loved her to death.

About half way through there the train came to a stop. Everything started getting cold and it felt like there was no where you could go to be happy again. Eventually the lights came on and the train started to move again. I went to go see the trio and check on them. "Hey guys, what's up?"

"Harry just fainted!" Ron says.

"What?" I ask. "Are you okay, what happened?"

"I'm fine, thanks though Aurora," he says.

"It was a dementor," Hermione added. "I read somewhere that they-"

"guard Azkaban," I say cutting her off. "Sorry. Anyways I just wanted to see if you guys were okay, I have to go change into my robes so I'll see you at the feast."

The feast was pretty normal the same speeches', don't go here, don't do this, then the first years got sorted and it took forever. Finally the feast appeared and I was starving. While me and the trio were eating McGonagall came up to me and Hermione and asked up to go to her office after dinner. After that things past so slowly for me and Hermione cause all we wanted to do was get to her office. We both knew what this was about McGonagall had written both of us over the summer and told us that she was going to give us an opportunity to take extra classes this year.

Dinner finish and me and Mione made are way down to McGonagall's office. Hermione knocked on her door, "Come in," we heard. We walked into her office and sat at the two seats across from her desk. "Alright girl, I'm gonna get right down to it this year you will be taking as many classes as you want as long as you can handle the workload. You will be using these," She said and held up two necklaces.

"I've seen those before, what are they?" I ask.

"Time turners," McGonagall replied.

"I've read about those," Hermione and I say in unison. "But Professor aren't they dangerous?" She asks.

"Yes! That's why both of you must be extremely careful, you can't run into the other you or let anyone see you use this okay?"

"Yes," we both answer.

"No one can know about these, not even your friends, do you understand?"

"Yes," we replied again.

"One full turn should take you back about an hour, write down the extra classes you want to take and I will put them on your timetable with instructions on how many turns you should do and when to do it. Good night girls."

"Good night Professor," we both say.

Hermione and I wrote down the classes we wanted to take and we headed back to the Gryffindor Common room. As soon as we got in we were blasted with questions from Ron and Harry wanting to know what McGonagall wanted from us and why we were in her office. We hid the time turners in the pockets of our robes and headed up to our dorms. We talked for a little while then went to bed.

I wake up and head into the bathroom and take a shower. I go back into my dorm and notice that all the other girls aren't there. They are probably at breakfast I think. I leave my books on my bed and head down to breakfast, when I get there I notice no one is there, that's when I relies I'm late. I run all the way back up to Gryffindor Tower and grab my all my books, since I don't have my time table yet, and start to go to the transfiguration class to get my schedule from McGonagall. As I start heading down the stairs I pull out my time turner and I was feeling the spindle when I fell down the steps, and I just kept going and going till I was on the first floor.
