Chapter one: "A gift"

It's literally been 2 years, and I've been dating Regina now. Honestly, I can't stay out of Regina's sight. I can't. It's another day in the castle, and I just turned 28 this morning. The floors are always still cold, and dark. I quickly change into my usual, then I quickly rush down stairs. I see Regina on the porch, and I smile.

I quickly run up to her and jump into her arms. I hug her tightly, as she giggles. We look at each other deeply in our eyes. Our lips crash together, the butterflies come alive and take over. Meeting Regina was the best things I've ever done, I'm free, safe, and happy.

I don't think I would've ever been this happy if I didn't run into her. A blush appears on our soft silky cheeks. She gently puts me down as I keep hugging her tightly. "Happy birthday." Regina said with a smile while brushing a strand of hair out of my face. "I love you." I said looking deeply in her eyes. Saying 'I love you' is pretty much our way of saying, 'thank you'.

She smiles then hugs me tightly. We love getting up early to watch the sun rise, it's the one thing we do every morning, and every day. We stand there with each other in our arms watching the sun rise, as the window gently whispers to us. "I have to go and do something." Regina says staring at the sun.

"May I come?" I ask watching some birds fly around the trees below us. "Not this time." She giggles. I huff, I hate it when she says that. We look at each other with smiles, then she slowly walks away as we slowly let each other go. I sigh, then turn around to continue watching the birds.

I decide to go check on Regina's best apples. Once I go outside, and pick an apple, one of the guards taps my shoulder. "What?" I ask aggressively while turning around. "Sorry your majesty." The guard bows. "Oh please, do get up." He stands back up. "You've been a little down for the past week now, are you ok?"

"Yes, I'm fine don't worry. Now water these trees or they'll die, and you don't want to see what happens if you don't water these trees." I scowl at him. "Yes right away." The guard says as he gets to work real fast. I smirk as I watch him while eating my apple. I love these apples....but not as much as I love Regina.

Words can't describe how much I love her. "Missed a spot." I scowl at Amy as she goes back and rips out the other horrible weeds. She was about to rip out a beautiful blooming rose. "Wait stop!" I yell out dropping the finished apple.

Amy stops and looks at me with a stupid look. My eyes sparkle as I stare at it. I walk up to it and carefully pick it. It's so beautiful, I have to give it to Regina. I walk inside the castle and walk into the big living room. I walk over to where the red crystal was to notice that it was gone. "!?" My eyes widened in shock, almost dropping the rose.

Maybe Regina took it for something... I place the rose gently on the display, then I carefully close the clear glass over top. I stare at it for a little bit, then I went to go check on Amy before they locked her up again. Regina had been gone almost all day, I really don't know why. I can't see her wanting to be away from me, maybe she has something planned.

She went downstairs, I'm assuming she went to the amour room. I patiently waited on the porch for Regina. Hours flew by and as they flew by, I fell asleep on the couch in front of the fireplace. I was half awake when I heard high heels hitting the floor as someone walked. I shot up to see who it was, then smiled happily.

"Sorry I took a while." Regina said with a smirk as she made it over to sit beside me. "By a while, you mean forever." I giggle wrapping my arms around her. "What were you doing?" I asked Regina snuggling right up to her. "A gift." She replies. I close my eyes as I giggle at what she says. I could hear footsteps, then the sound of metal hitting against each other.

I sit up a little annoyed. "I told him to come in." Regina says brushing my hair out of my face, then stood up holding her hand out. I gently take her hand and stand up. She leads me behind the couch, then she lets go of my hand and stands in front of me. "Ahem." Regina demands the guard to do as planned.

He kneels in one knee, then brings out a little red box. He opens the red box up, and inside it was a ring made out of the red crystal and some stone. There was three small crystals side by side on top, then the stone wraps around the three small red crystals. I gasped when I saw it and my hands flew over my mouth.

"Will you marry me?" Regina asks as a smile swims across her face. "Yes!!!" I blurt out right as she finishes talking. The guard stands up, and Regina takes the ring out of the box and slips it on my middle finger. I blush and smile rapidly, looking at it. Regina goes in for a hug, but I quickly place my hands on her cheeks and crash my lips on hers.

She blushes deeply shocked then kisses me back. The taste of her cherry lips makes me blush even harder. I pull away, then I hug her tightly. "Thank you." I whisper as my eyes water happily. "I love you." Regina whispers in my ear then rests her chin on my shoulder. She shoos the guard away. "I love you more." I whisper in her ear.

"Words can't describe how much I love you." I whisper again biting my bottom lip. She giggles sweetly. "And words can't describe how much you mean to me." Regina whispers back. My cheeks flush deeply. I wrap my arms around her waist and look deeply in her eyes. "So," I say brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes.

"When are we going to get married?" I ask with a smile. "3 days." She replies. "3 DAYS!?" My eyes widen as I yell shocked. "Is that to soon?" Regina asks sarcastically with a grin. I frown at her with a slight nod. "Well then, we should get ready. Now you don't worry about anything but yourself." Regina says poking my nose.

"But what about you?" I ask while giggling then grabbing both of her hands clinging them with mine. "I have myself under control as well. I have guards and prisoners." She winks at me. I giggle at her, then I gently place my forehead with hers.

"I love you."
