Hey guys! I'm so sorry for not updating this earlier! But hopefully I will start writing with more frequency 😉

Hope you enjoy this chapter!

Prince Caspian's horse was fast, but barely any faster than the guards' horses.

The prince was already in the forest with the guards trailing close behind him. They were close, very close; he didn't have a chance to make it out alive.

Or so he thought...

He was gaining space between the guards and himself, now he could barely see them.

And then he fell from his horse.

Not a chance to make it out alive.

But then a mysterious figure made it's appearance.

"Don't move." It was a woman's voice. She was dressed in black pants and a black shirt, a black scarf, and a black mask.

"Who are you?"

"There's no time for questions, just hide or do something useful."

Who did she think she was? He was the prince of the land, the PRINCE!! She, whoever she was, had not the right to order him whatever she pleased.

The guards were coming.

There were like... eight!

And she killed them all with only one sword.

Prince Caspian was shocked. Who was she with such impressive authority and ability and courage?

"Now, we have to run. Miraz is surely sending more."

"Show me your face."

"What?"

"Take your mask off your face, I demand!" The prince yelled, pointing his sword towards her neck.

"Are you really going to fight me, young prince? You have recently witnessed me killing like... eight men with a single sword. Think your actions well."

"I am Telmar's prince and you are in my land! Now, tell me who you are or I will have no mercy on you."

"I just saved your life. But if my identity you want to know, who am I to deny it? But first," she said, entwining her sword with his and in an agile move taking it away from him, making it fly a few meters away, leaving a shocked Telmarine prince. "That's better. My name's Esther, and I am a Narnian spy. I was sent from Cair Paravel by orders of high king Peter to help you get to Narnia safely. Also, he and his siblings want you to know that they are at your side."
Esther said, reveling her face. She had to be only a year or two younger than him.

She is breathtaking. The prince thought, earning a reaproch from himself moments later. He was supposed to marry queen Susan soon, and if Esther was going to help him get to her, let be it.

"Come, we have to start walking if we want to make it to Narnia in a few days."

"So, you're a Narnian spy and know their highnesses. Surely you have met queen Susan too." The prince said, catching up with this strange girl that helped him only moments before.

"Ahh, Queen Susan, yes. She is a lovely young lady. One of my best friends, by the way. Why are you so interested?"

"You see, Telmar and Narnia had made a treaty to benefit the two kingdoms. They made an arranged marriage, so now I have to marry this queen who I don't know and most important of all I don't love. But if you are her best friend you should know it by now." He said, eying her suspiciously.

"She didn't tell me about that, but I had heard rumours from the high king. I didn't ask her though. They don't want the kingdom to know it right now, barely anyone in the castle knows it. What is it?" She asked, for the prince had stopped walking.

"My father. My professor said he was already here in the woods. Have you found him?" He asked, concern all written in his handsome face.

Esther looked shocked. Why? He had only asked for his father, what is so strange about it?

"What?"

Why hadn't she thought about it? "Surely another spy found him and are already in their way to Narnia."

"So, what are we waiting for? Let's go to Narnia!"
