Hi there, this is Amy again, the first time in a while. I haven't updated my blog much lately, between work and wedding plans, I've been all over the place mentally!
I haven't had time for my old man, Vinny, since accepting this promotion, but I have been leasing him out to this lovely little girl named Lauren. It makes me sad, she really reminds me of someone I've never mentioned before in my blogs, someone I used to know. One day she and her family just up and left SOcal, and I heard word that she got into a fatal riding accident and died a few years back. I do miss her sometimes, but I keep too busy to really have a life other than work and wedding plans.
I don't really know what else to tell you all, I can't keep up with my own life anymore! God, it used to be so different. I did what I said I would never do; I grew up and got swept into the world of high-rise penthouses and promotions, and I let my family and my horse down. It used to be so simple when we lived in a world of riding our horses around my small town and getting into adventures every day after school. How I wish those summer days had never ended, that the sun hadn't gone down that last night she and I spent playing together in the barn and braiding our horses' manes and tails. I want it all back now, I really do. I'd give anything to have it back if only for one day.
Signing off now,
AmyAye 😉 What do you think of this new approach? Going to do one more blog post tonight. Also, comment ⬇ some things you'd like Amy to cover in future blog posts, I'm actually thinking about wrapping this story up in the next few chapters. Any/all support would be appreciated! Thanksies 😘
