I found it odd that the playground was empty, there weren't any students hurrying towards class as usual. I didn't give too much thought into it since I was already late to get back to my class. I just needed to get my bag and head off to my next class.
As I entered the classroom I felt embarrassment, everyone had already left. My bag was still in the seat that I left it at. Yet, my bag wasn't the only one. The chairs were layed out like before and there were still some bags left on some of the chairs. Maybe they went to the assembly hall for an emergency assembly or something. I couldn't apply reason to it. I had to find someone. I took notice that Hannah's bag was gone, as if she'd leave her bag behind, I thought consciencly rolling my eyes at her. She hides her food in her bag rather than books. It's her precious food that she can't live without. I choose not to question it since the last time I asked for some food, she asked that I do her homework. Pretty big price for a some gummy bears.
I rushed to the assembly hall hoping not to be seen in case it was an assembly that I had forgotten about. I went through the back entrance of the hall hoping to sneak into the hall. Yet my instincts prove me wrong yet again. There wasn't a single person in the hall, at this point I was scared that maybe it was a half day and I just didn't realize it.
After being disappointed by my discovery I decide to go to the reception area to see if they can let me out or tell me where everyone is. Although, just in case beforehand I chose to make sure that I wasn't missing anything. I'm not good with confrontations and the reception is outside the principals office. So if I was wrong then I'd get in trouble.
I wander the halls peering through each classroom. Nothing, no one was in there. I tried the second floor only to come to the same conclusion. I honestly just gave up and hoped that I got locked in somehow, it'd mean that I could do anything. With no one to stop me. The ideas come to my mind as to what I can do. I first run towards the science labs to see if I could try do some experiments. Or you know, mix every chemical you can find and see what happens. I started to plot as I entered the lab.
I was ready to grab the beakers and grab the chemicals until I heard something. I looked around me to see if I had dropped something. I looked towards the door to find someone staring at me. I could only catch a glimpse of them until they went running. I felt really creeped out by the fact that someone was watching me but I needed answers. I chased after the mysterious figure, hoping they'd help me.
