Shoose's P.O.V.

I hesitated too much. That's it, if I want to ask [First Name] out, I better dive. Anyway, I'm an utaite and utaites have swag and confidence. So, why don't I use it?

Wednesday, last period, math, partner discussion. This is the perfect time to ask her!

"Um, [First Name], may I ask you a question?"

"Sure, a-anything," she smiled.

"Could you- err... May you-"I paused with my hands sweaty, "... explain to me what functions are? I don't get it!" I scratched my head. What the Heck!?

"Um~ Ok," she started explaining.

Great Job Shoose! NAILED IT!

Your P.O.V.~

Afterschool, I was walking out the school gate until a hand got hold of my shoulder. I turned around.

"Oh, hello again- Shoose," I blushed as I lost eye contact with him.

"[First Name], thanks for helping me in math," he said.

"Don't mention it- bye," I did a mini wave and turned back, but he caught my hand.

"Um, [First Name], it took me Monday and Tuesday to gather up confidence to ask this to you... but," he stood up straight and held out his hands to take mine, "could you go on a hot date with me, Friday, prom?"

Holy Heichou! Those are the exact words I wanted to hear from him, not really though. When I heard those words my head spun, my cheeks burned red, and both my hands twitched in his. I immediately looked up.

I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. Then finally, "Um," I smiled, "I would love to... But," I replied as my smile faded away, "but I can't." I took my hands back. I really wanted to, but something felt wrong.

"Why?" I saw the questionable looks in his eyes.

Something doesn't feel right. Wait, aren't you supposed to ask Viviana out? Not me," not me, not me, "I'm not popular like you, and you are. In fact, Shoose, is the most popular boy in school. Are you sure you want to ask someone- a schoolgirl out like me. Are you sure you don't want to ask someone popular like you?" Not me! Why me?

"Yes I do! I want you, I have feelings for you!" he expressed while he grabbed my shoulders.

"No, this might be a joke, a dare..." I spoke suddenly- my voice softly rising, "the only thing I'm avoiding here is heartbreak and embarrassment." I tugged myself away. I turned.

"This isn't a fake," he clutched my arm ~ whoa he keeps touching me though ~,"How could I make this offer and date genuine and authentic?" He was obviously desperate, "[First Name], you like me also, don't you?"

"I know, I really do! But to make this date authentic..." his eyes widened, and I leaned in,"...do something or take me somewhere I like, for just the two of us. You can ignore it if you want. You have Three Days, starting today." I left, not another word.

Shoose's P.O.V.

"How am I supposed to do that?"...
