Chapter 2

I see you Brooke, and I'm coming for you...
The words echo in my head over and over, who is this person and how do they know my name...The message wasn't sent very long ago...
I stand up, put my dish away and walk back to my room, the message still ringing in my head. I ignore it and lay down on my bed and before I know it, I fall asleep.

Tap tap
I jolt awake at the sound of knocking on my bedroom door. I stumble out of bed and walk to the door. I pull the door open and a hazy figure steps in the room. Suddenly I'm knocked to the ground and pinned down.

"Hello Brooke." I smile, that voice sounded so sexy and deep. I look at the owner of the voice and see the most handsome guy ever. Hair as black as night, emerald green eyes, muscular body, he seemed to be built like a god. His green eyes bore into my blue ones as he released me. I sit up and he smiles and says, " I like you Brooke Laliberte, I want you to be mine... I've been watching you for a long time now and you are the most perfect girl I've seen, so I want you to come with me."

I stare at him as he waits for a response.

"Uhh...I dont... I." I stutter.

He nods at my refusal and pulls a long blade out of his pocket.

"Maybe this will change your mind, if you don't want me to kill your friend in the other room I suggest that you come with me." He slides the blade across my cheek carefully making sure it doesn't cut me.

I look at the blade resting on my cheek and nod quickly, tears running down my face.

"That's a good girl Brooke, now stand up." He grabs my arm and pulls me to my feet. All of a sudden I'm being thrown onto his back and we are jumping out the window and into the night.

"You never told me your name!" I tell as we run through the woods.

"Kade, my name is Kade Marrow" He stops running. I hop off his back and he turns to me. Before I can utter a word his lips come crashing down onto mine and his hands are wrapping around my waist, pulling me close to him. I squeak as our bodies touch but find myself wrapping my fingers in his hair and kissing back. Our lips simultaneously part and grant entrance as he shoves his tongue in my mouth. He picks me up by the waist and I wrap my legs around his as he presses me into a tree and begins kissing my neck. I realize that I know nothing about him except his name and I push his shoulders back. He stops instantly.

"I uhh I feel like m-maybe we should learn more about each other b-before we..." I mumble and stutter. He nods and sets me down still smiling.

"I understand Brooke, and by the way, you taste amazing." He winks and I blush with the taste of his lips still on mine. He grabs my hand and we continue on the journey to... Wherever he was taking me...

"Hey uhh... Kade? Where are we going?" I ask quietly.

"To my house, your coming to live with me, unless there's a problem?" He looks at me frowning slightly. I shake my head and he smiles.

"Good, now welcome to Chez Marrow. My house is now your house." I look up to see a quaint little cottage sitting in the woods. He grabs my hand and pulls me inside...
