Chapter 1 - Start for a tragedy.
This story starts with a tragedy, but ends with a happy ending, or will the tragedy continue from the start? Read my story if you want to find out.
The story starts in a huge cruise ship where our protagonist celebrates his 7th birthday. "Mom, Dad thanks for the party!" said the kid while smiling.
The Mom and the Dad returned the smile "This is nothing for our precious Angelo. Maybe next time we might celebrate your 8th birthday in space!" said the Dad while laughing.
"Don't make promises you can't fullfill, Honey." said the Mom. "Really dad?" Angelo reacted. "See what you did?" She said to the Dad while frowning.
"Ha ha ha! I'm just fooling around. Don't you worry, son. Me and your Mom will give you the greatest gift that any parent can give to their child." proudly said by the dad.
The child looked really happy. "What is it Mom, Dad?" said Angelo. "Well it's a secret, honey" the mom said while pinching Angelo's cheeks.
"Oh, i almost forgot! The necklace." said the mom while gesturing at the table full of presents. "Here madam" said the servant while handing a white box to the Mom. "Thanks." the Mom reacted.
The Mom felt uneasy after seeing that this servant is the only one wearing a mask, but she didn't mind it. The first mistake. "Come here Angelo." said the Mom while opening the white box.
The white box revealed a golden necklace with diamond encrusted into it and it displayed the name "Angelo". "Thanks, Mom!" screamed Angelo.
Angelo wore the necklace and plead "Mom, Dad my friends are calling me, can i go?" the dad reacted "Go ahead." the mom added "Be careful though." and Angelo rushed to his friends while waving to his parents.
"You're too worried." the dad proposed. "You can't worry too much, honey." the mom reacted. "Do you want me to repeat the conversation last night again?" she added. "Not that again." Said the dad.
"As long as we are this rich" the mom gestured at the whole cruise ship "we can't stop worrying." "Did you forgot what happened last week?" the mom added.
"There's no way i can forget but that's not the point oka-" said the dad. "It's more than the point." the mom said with anger. "Angelo almost died!" she added and started crying.
"Okay, i get it!" the dad replied. "Stop crying, okay? I won't let that happen again." the dad added and hugged the mom. They don't know the enemy already infiltrated their ship, until it's too late.
A group of masked people gathered around inside a private room. "Are we gonna do this?" said the man with the rabbit mask. "We can't back down now! We are starting the operation at midnight." Said the pig masked guy.
"That's the countdown to that brat's birthday." said the bird masked woman. "Exactly. A perfect gift for the brat don't ya' think?" the pig masked guy added and started laughing.
The group started laughing so loud that little Angelo heard it. "What's that?" said Angelo. "It's nothing, let's keep playing!" said his friend. "No, i'll check it out." he added.
"Do what you want, dude. We're gonna play at the deck." his friend replied. "Okay, see ya'" Angelo ended the conversation and headed straight to the room. He opened the door slightly and peeked trough the crack.
He heard the group talking. "So have you placed the bombs?" said the pig masked guy. "Yes, Especially at the room of that wretched king and queen." replied the bird masked woman.
Suprised and shocked the child thought "I have to warn them!" but as he retreated a masked guy opened the door and saw a scared kid. "Hey guys! I found the brat." said the cow masked guy.
The kid panicked and tried to run away, but fate was not forgiving. Angelo had tripped over some pipes allowing the masked guy to catch up to him.
As the masked man reached to catch Angelo a young girl suddenly screamed "Mom! Dad!" and a couple appeared and a woman said "What's happening here?" "Is there a problem sir?" a man added.
"No, nothing." after replying the masked man went back to the room and slammed the door close. "Are you okay?" asked the woman. "Yeah." replied Angelo and stared at the girl beside her. "Like her?" said the man.
"N-N-No i was just wondering what's her name." after replying, Angelo smiled forcefully and laughed in a weird fashion. "Melcar. My name is melcar" said Melcar.
"I'm her dad." said Melcar's dad. "Mom." said Melcar's mother while pointing at herself. "Uhhhmmm, I got to go now. Bye!" said Angelo and ran away afterwards.
"What a weird kid." said Melcar's mom. "He's perfect for our little angel!" she added. "Mom!" said Melcar. "Well, sweety, it is tradition for our families to get along and ma-" said Melcar's dad before getting interrupted by Melcar.
"Marry. I know dad i am a kid but i'm not that stupid." said Melcar. "Understood, little princess." replied Melcar's dad. While the girl perfectly knows the tradition, Angelo doesn't know it one bit. He'll know soon enough. The story will extend further. But for now you shall wait for the next "Chapter".
