The day started off as normal as always. King Alexander and queen Brianna wake up at the arrival of Victor, their butler, with breakfast. They are served and then Victor enters the next room to wake the princess. They had just celebrated Silva's third birthday and all was well within the kingdom. But when Silva received her powers from the Goddess they were not expecting that she would have the gift of immortality, among others. Her parents put extra security to protect their princess from those who would seek that power. Unbeknownst to them one of the guards they put in charge was Malifica, a witch who slithered her way into the kingdom to gain power, and she saw an opportunity. She planned on getting alone with the girl so she could snatch her away and hide her. She saw her opportunity when she was assigned to bathe the princess and put her to bed, she turned on the water, put a sleeping spell on Silva and escaped out of the window using the fog as cover. Almost an hour passes when Carla enters the bathroom and finds it empty. She immediately ran to the nearest bell and signaled an emergency. The king and queen were there in an instant and the report was made, the princess has been taken and the Guard was not to rest until she was found.

Two years had passed and the witch had used a mind control spell to use some thugs saying they killed the princess as an escape. The king and queen were destroyed by the news and had then on focused solely on the protection and defense of the kingdom. This made perfect cover for the witch who had raised Silva until she was twelve. When Silva learned that the witch stole her, she imprisoned her within a tree using her powers. And so the young centaur was left to roam the land until she found her real family. Soon she came across an abandoned cave, using a shielding spell to keep evil-doers away, she made a home. She studied the scrolls the witch kept hidden from her and taught herself how to use her powers. Sometimes instinct would make her cast a spell but she didn't want to rely on instinct all the time. Within days she had learned a spell that would act as a distress call. If she were magic then surely her parents would be too and they would receive this call. Now she would have to wait and study some more.

Several weeks passed since she made her home in the cave and one morning she heard a commotion and peeked out to observe. Upon sneaking around she came across a village who was holding a ceremony of sorts, people were dancing and some were beating drums. Then a large male emerged from a hut dressed in bright colors and face paint. It was evident he was a chief of some sort. The celebration was revealed to be a coronation of said chief. And she planned to enter the village and seek out anyone who could help her find her home. But for now, she laid low. The next morning when the festivities died down. Silva cautiously entered the village, it was relatively empty save for some carriages riding by and some children playing. She approached a small group of kids and made herself known.

"Hello". She says shyly. The children turn to her and run away scared. All but one girl who said hello back. "My name is Sil-" Before she could finish the girls mother pulled her away. "Daisy get away from that thing". Silva frowned as did Daisy. "But mama, I just wanna play". Her mother grimaced. "Then play with the other children. And you freak, stay away from my daughter". Silva shed a few tears at the hostility and stumbled away into an alley. A group of bigger kids saw her and grinned evilly. "Hey freak. You don't belong here, go back to monster land.". They stalked closer to her and she shrunk more and more into her corner. One of them raised a large stick and began hitting her repeatedly until she bled in multiple places. Instinct took over and she force pushed them away, thankfully they were scared by the act and they ran away.  She fell asleep against the wall more scared and alone than she had ever been before.

The sun shone bright and directly in Silva's face waking her early. She got up and crept out of the alley, hoping it was too early for anyone to be out and about. She saw no one and ran to the woods and straight to her cave to clean her wounds. She was wrapping them when she heard footsteps. She stood and took a defensive stance, prepared for a fight. "Hello". Came a soft voice. It was the girl from before, Daisy. "I have food". Silva crept out from her hiding spot which Daisy responded with a smile. Silva smiled back at her and looked at the bowl of fruit. "I assumed you don't eat meat since...". she said gesturing to the deer half of Silva's body. Silva nodded and reached for an apple, taking a bite. "So, what's your name. I'm Daisy". Silva nodded. "My name's Silva". Daisy smiled. "That's a pretty name. No offense, but what are you?". She asks again. "I think I'm called a centaur. I just found out I was kidnapped. Now I'm trying to find my real family". She says. "Aw, that sounds terrible. I wanna help...somehow". She says with a hand on Silva's. "So how old are you then?" Daisy asks curiously. Silva holds up her hands and counts with her fingers before responding. "I'm thirteen". Daisy smiles. "I'm sixteen. I've also never really had a friend before either".
