After an hour of preparing our luggage, I
put them downstairs and placed it on a table.
Grandma was already done. Now its time for Felice to come.
She was still packing because she got distracted at some toy she got from a shop a long time ago and reminisanced all the fun times she had with it.
I came upstairs and told her to come . She realizes it was time to pack and went downstairs.
"Oh dear." grandma said with a gasp " I forgot to do something, its still 7:50 the train will departure at 10:00. Why not go to the Klarksons house? They were also invited and theyll be offerig us a ride to the station."
The Klarkson's are close friends with my family and the Lemingtons. They go back before I was born.
As I opened the door and opened the gate, Me and Felly crossed the road to the other side where the Klarksons are. As I knocked, there door opened revieling one of my childhood friends. May Klarkson.
Her hair Is golden blond, her eyes are forest green. And her skin was tanned cause of too much laying around the beach.
"Well Trevor. Ready this early?" May said with a little smirk in her face.
"Yeah, I could say the same thing to you." I replied with no hesitation.
"Of course because Im always ready."
Typical May, she always boasts. After that short conversation. And old man with a white mustache wearing a trench coat with a scarf and a fedora was stepping out behind her.
Its May's grandfather, Ken Kowalski Klarkson, he was a detective just luke my dad, they used to call old Ken the "KKK" which was a Filipino group that was fighting or freedom, which Ken is.
Ken solved alot of cases involving a lot of culprits who kidnapped people for the sick fun of it. Luckily Ken in those days was there to help.
Heh, he was even my Father's mentor when he was still young.
"Oh hello there youngins. Are ya ready for the
trip?" he said with his western accent.
"Well we are, although grandma forgot something and tild us to see you guys for the ride ro the station."
"Old Rose at it again, keeps on forgetting."
After that Ken kept on talking about his days when he was a detective and poor May had to carry all her granddad' s luggage to there car, I helped but Felice hust sat there on the porch and listened to Ken's story, tgere she goes again, side tracked.
"Thanks for the help. I appreciate it." May said
"It was my pleasure, hey what's the first thing you'll do when were in the train?" I replied.
"I dont kniw. Look for celebrities?"
"You wish. Over the rainbows of galloping unicorns."
"Did somebody say unicorn? " as she over heard
that word in our convesation.
We just smiled at her and then went back talking. Of course she got pissed cus we ignored her and she just blowed air into her cheeks with giabt pount.
"Really Trevs? I was still 5 okay?" May said
"Hehe yeah but I was also 5 too yu know"
As we talked I heard a lock on my door. Grandma came outside with our luggage.
"Alright, Im all packed. Shall we go?"
As I carried all the luggage to the car. I called Felice and Ken. Ken quickly went into the driver's seet and turned on the engine.
Next stop. The Golden Bullet Station.
