Max pov (before she screamed)
Anna tried to reject me so I covered her mouth. I was about to cry after I covered her mouth. She looked up with red, puffy eyes. I just broke down crying. I was on my knees begging for forgiveness because i never wanted my mate to try and reject me! "Plz don't reject me! I am sorry. I never wanted to hurt you. I never wanted you to see the real me. The selfish me." I balled before I was interrupted by my phone. I ignored it and crept crying. "Just answer your phone. I will think of forgive you." I nodded. I answered my phone like i was told.

M: yes why
P:Your wife got in car crash and her and the baby didn't make it!
M: Oh my god. Just cremated her and the baby. I will be over soon.

I heard and ear perusing scream after i hung up the phone. I looked up and saw blood coming out of her shoulder.
