When you write songs think of it as a letter to someone. If it is all just fun and games then just write it based off of an experience. While writing songs think of it as if you want someone to read it. You can also think of all the songs you have heard when your write it. The song doesn't have to make sense or have a meaning behind it. The song can just be created just because. If you want people to hear your song just go to someone you are comfortable with. Now they might point out some flaws, but don't feel down, it is to help improve your writing skills. And if you think the song is bad think there are songs worse than the one you wrote. Not everybody is good at writing lyrics. Don't worry what others think keep doing what you are good at.

This little message my good friend, Lily, wrote for me was really helping me with my insecurities about my writing. The moment I read it, I remembered a song i made a few months ago in the shower. To give you guys an example I'm  going to show it to you guys it is called "I am a Tree." Don't judge it, I got bored:

  ================================================================================

I am a Tree

Nothing in this world can compare to me

I am a Tree

Bring me back to the forest so i can be set free

================================================================================

Its not much, that is because the versus are just way to deep and strange and important to me to share just yet. But, I hope you are inspired by this and don't stop writing about the things you love. Whether it is a song, story, or a drawing.
