The Color of Heaven

Love just a small word having so many feelings bound together. This book talks about death, heaven, tears, love, sacrifice, relationship, family and lot more things.

When I started the book I fall in love with a mother who unconditionally love her daughter. Her daughter who is fighting with death and all she need a support from her husband to stand with her daughter. When you loose someone it hurts. It hurts so much you feel like your also dead with that person there is no reason to be alive. There is no reason for smiles. We are so attached to that person it broke us completely. Heart ached every time we saw pieces of memory related to that person. Writer had portrait all this feelings with great words.

Then I fall in love with woman who is searching for own identity. Something happened and that one thing gave her all the answers of her life. It made her complete in every way.

Another characters which placed beautifully are Cora, Matt and Peter. This three characters will explain you the feeling of being in love. Feeling of great friendship. There story starts with childhood friendship. All three were connected because of Cora. Three totally different personalities yet so much together no one can separate them. 

Matt has very difficult childhood which falls three apart. After that Cora found her support in Peter. They fall in love but here was still something missing for Cora. Cora was happy with peter but sometimes she felt suffocation in her life. She wants to breathe and live life like there is no future no tomorrow. She founds her fresh air after a years when she again met Matt. Then she realized the  bond she share with Matt is so much more beautiful than the way it is with peter. In a week she and Matt came so much together that no one can separate them. But god always wants something different. She lost him but she do found something. She found a hero of her life 'Peter'.

When I start this book I was so confused of one character which is Peter. I actually started hating him. But when I read whole story I felt so much love, respect for him and guilt for hating him. Can anyone be so much selfless? Can anyone really love someone so much? In real life I have no idea. But I found one in this novel. Peter loved Cora unconditionally. He teaches me love means happiness of your partner rather than your's. Cora gets pregnant by Matt child and she gets to know this after Matt get died. During this phase Peter support her. Showered her with so much love. He loved that child like his own. This is the unconditional love and friendship.  

This whole story Sophie heard through her mom's voice means Cora. Sophie founds so many answers to her questions. She founds reason to love and respect her Dad. She founds life never ends it just goes on. We have to work hard to get through everything. The people you love might left you one day but life never ends there. Because there are so many other peoples are going to come into your life to blossom it more.
