Welcome to the Perfectionist Procrastinators Book Club!
Quite a mouthful right? Well, we're not even sorry because we (Kay & Amy) are both perfectionists and procrastinators.
This book club is for anyone with great ambitions but little time. We all want our books to rank and become famous. We all want to write great stories that people will rave about. At the same time, we all go through a time where we put off writing or doing our homework (or anything really) till later. We either lack inspiration, we start looking up something on google then end up watching videos on Youtube or we just have life going on.
Being a perfectionist goes hand in hand with procrastinating. Sometimes we'd spend days on writing a single scene on the hope that it would turn out perfect.
Hence the name of our book club ;)
* Who are we you ask?
We're two writers (or so we like to think) on wattpad, from the opposite sides of the world, struggling to keep up with daily life and with our writing schedules.
* Why choose this book club?
We tend to be supportive of each other so why not enlarge the scope? Many people are discouraged by other writers or by the quality of their writing. We would like to create a friendly, respectful and fun community where we support each other, have some activities and most importantly make friends. We can relate to people who are perfectionists and often procrastinate.
*Who can join?
Anyone discovered or undiscovered can join. However, your book must not exceed 50k reads. And that is because we want more struggling writers to go up the ladder. We're looking for people who are trying to push themselves to further their writing, that is the premise of our book club.
