Sarah races into my room Luke carrying me right after her, He shuts my bedroom door and locks it. I look at my window it is open "Shit the window" i get up to close it but movement starts behind the curtains " Chandra get back" Sarah said gripping my arm. Luke runs over to Sarah with a bat "Back up" Luke said as he places the bat in front of him ready to hit anything that was going to get through the window. The curtains shuffle more and more Luke ready's the bat. A small object jumps down from the window " Muki" I cry out as the small feline pounces onto my shoe lace. Luke shuts the window and closes the curtain "Quick get into the trap door" Sarah exclaims as i hand her the puzzle piece key from my necklace. Sarah unlocks the trap door and i scoop up Muki and Luke helps me down the stairs into the room. Sarah pulls the trap door shut after she gets in and the carpet falls back over the trap door.
Glass shatters and noise begins to fill the living room we where once in, I shudder under Luke and Sarah grips onto my arm hard. Muki runs in between boxes and crates to hide. The noise stops in the living room "d-did it l-leave?" Sarah whispers before i could answer we hear foot steps going down the stairs to my room.
