You know what I don't enjoy? Being laughed at, not with, at. Especially by someone in my own family. My grandmother, laughed at me.
Okay, so we got to my house after going out to dinner and I had to let my dog out. He isn't one to willingly run out the door so you have to pick him up, carry him out, and then run back inside before he gets back in the door.
I started to do just that and my grandmother thought she'd hold the door for me. I can see that as trying to be a nice gesture, but my dog just ran back inside, first laugh. Second round. I get my dog again and take him back out. This time she opens the door again and shuts it once I'm outside so my dog stays out. I go to open the door and he runs back in, second laugh. By this time I'm starting to get annoyed. Now, my dog ran after one of my cats and chased her upstairs. I had to go after my dog, catch him and take him back out. He runs down the steps outside and I try to go back in. He runs back in, third laugh. Now I'm pissed. My grandmother goes to the bathroom, still laughing. I grab my dog and take him outside. He runs down the steps, I turn toward the door and he runs back up. I fake that I'm going to walk down the steps and he runs down. I quickly go back in the house.
My dog does his business and I bring him back in. He goes in his play pen. I grab my stuff to come up to my room and my grandmother comes out of the bathroom. I just walk past her. She was no help, and made me mad.
I don't want to try to portray her as a terrible person, but I feel better having written this down. I hope you all have a fantastic day!
