What is life, what's our purpose, our meaning? These questions aren't easily answered. Sometimes they can't be answered at all. Each and every person on this earth has a purpose. Every single person was placed on this Earth for a reason. Sadly, sometimes the people around us or the demons in our head tell us differently. They tell us we aren't loved, and that no one will care. We tend to believe these poisonous words, and it's hard not to. Normally, people would tell you to ignore them, but we all know it's not that easy. It's hard not to let these words cloud your vision. A couple paragraphs written by a girl in front of her computer screen isn't going to change that either.
Seeing what you're meant for in life is almost impossible. That's supposed to be the joy of it, but joy is relative. Joy isn't always present. Sometimes, no matter how hard, you have to push past the bad. You need to. You are an important piece to life. You've touched so many people's lives, that you couldn't possibly comprehend. You've become a part in all their lives, even if you just awkwardly made eye contact with them at the mall. You have become a part of their life. Even if you were one of thousands of people to like their photo on Instagram, or retweeted their clever tweet. No matter how minor, you've officially become part of their life and memories. Your idol just tweeted, and you replied with heart eyes. You have now become apart of that person's memories.
Your life is so precious. Sure there will be people that look like you, sound like you, or share your name, but NO ONE will ever think the exact same thing as you, right now. No one will ever dream the same things as you do. No one will ever love someone the way you will. We truly are unique.
What do we do with these hopeless, worthless thoughts? You can't just get rid of them. If it were that easy, we wouldn't have these problems. My best advice is to pick a topic. Maybe something that makes you smile, or happy. It can be anything, but it has to be positive. Anytime those thoughts try to come into light, repeat that thing over and over in your head, until they're gone.
Your joy is relative to you. Although it may not be easy, you can give yourself joy. Which is way different from happiness. Anyone can feel joy, but sometime our minds won't let us feel happiness, and that's okay, one day you will. Try not to give into your sadness. If you're sad, turn on you favorite song, and dance. Dance until you feel joy. Not a good dancer? Who cares, dance in private. You deserve to feel joy. You deserve to feel happiness. You deserve to enjoy life, and you deserve to live.
