I have been accused
Dreams being the cause
But when he goes by
My entire being, pause

It is hard to miss
Such a wonderful mystery
Gets me lost in its maze
Of exquisite tragedy

Those eyes
Hypnotizing pools of grey
Show much emotion
Through the dark masquerade

On goes the night
Filled with couples dancing
Our eyes are yet to stray
The Ice and fire blazing

What a masterpiece before me
My hands itch for a touch
My mind wonders who he is
That has pulled me in so much

I glide closer and closer
Each step full of anticipation
How could he, a stranger
Catch this much if my attention?

Suddenly he is gone
So is everyone
My eyes blink in surprise
With my thoughts weighing a ton

I hear a voice
"Open your eyes", it say
So I shut them tight
And wake up to another day

The sunlights pouring
Through the curtains seams
I chuckle with amusement
At my foolish dreams
