"Manik's Pov..."

I came home after I done with the preparation of the party. Before, coming to my apartment I first checked, the on going preparation in Murthy Mansion, just to check how the decorations going. I was there for about an hour but didn't find Nandini anywhere around.

I don't know why, why my eyes were searching her, it wasn't like I wanted to see her or talk to her but...arghh I know I was over-reacting still my heart didn't stopped there and unknowingly I asked Nandini's whereabouts from one of the butler there. First, he looked at me skeptically and I looked down, embarrassed a little but eventually he answered me. Thank God!

He said she was in the room with her dad and I smiled on it.

"Dad-daughter catching up!"

I again smiled mentally and got busy in the preparation, guiding the workers to work perfectly and according to the plan. After I done, I head to home to get ready for the party.

When I entered to my apartment I saw Soha in the room all ready, ready to go somewhere out.

I cleared my throat to get her attention as she was facing back to me and it worked because she turned towards the door of the room where I was standing and smiled a bit seeing me. I too smiled and asked..

"Where are you going??"

"In a party, in club with friends.."

She replied casually. And I frowned, she didn't ask my permission, though permission wasn't needed as she has freedom to go anywhere but my concern was that, she not even informed me beforehand about it.

"Ohh, but Soha you didn't informed me about this??"

I asked her slowly, trying not to show my disappointment regarding this.

"Manik, the plan make suddenly and I got busy in selecting my outfit n all, so I couldn't think of you, to inform you about this."

She answered and I turned my face to the other side to hide my pain. She didn't even think of me, as if I'm not exist in her life. Great! Just Great!!

I low my head down with a scowl on. When I heard her asking me that..

"Anyway, you came early today? Why??"

She asked arching her eyebrows. Instead of being happy about it, she was giving me confused look only. There is not any pinch of happiness on her face.

"Vo.. ha I came early to get ready for a party which is at my boss house. And I also thought to take you with me there, tonight."

I replied shrugging my thoughts away. But she scrunched her eyebrows on my words.

"Why?"

She asked. And I glanced at her weirdly. Is she is gone mad? Why would a husband take his wife to a party?.. obviously to accompany him, & meet her with his friends n all.
