Harry has been walking through a run down city for around 3 hours now. A couple times he passed people huddled around trashcans or giving him dirty looks. As much as he wanted to help people like this, his grip had tightened around the knife he held every time. One of his earbuds were in and he had been trying to get a connection to the mysterious guy in his broadcasters station. All Harry has been listening to was static until a voice shined through.

"......The news for today kiddies! This is DJ Ghost, and today's playlist starts with a tune we all know and love: Believer by American Authors! Stay strong out there guys."

The song started playing and Harry's mouth hung open, the broadcaster was a girl, and not just any girl, that was the same voice telling him to run faster that horrible night! But how could she have communicated with him...?

"If you keep standing there with your mouth open like that, your going to breath in a bunch of radiation."

A voice behind Harry interrupted his thoughts and made him jump. He spun around, knife in hand to face the girl behind him. Harry's eyes widened at the sight of her, she was hot! Her hair was light brown and stunning green eyes stared back at him. Harry's eyes traveled downward and saw a black tank top and skinny jeans covering her curves.

Harry's face grew red. He had never really spoken to girls since they were on the other side of the building in the Girls Wing...

She smirked at him, obviously noticing his eye travel up and down her body. The girl, who, Harry noticed, was probably around his age walked closer.

"I'm Ava." She said with a grin "I've been following you, you obviously look lost."

Harry stood there for a second ignoring the fact that she had followed him, and tried remembering everything his uncle taught him about talking to girls, and then finally spoke.

"Well, Love, you don't have to worry about me. I can take care of myself." He said smiling popping his dimples, still with the knife griped in his hand.

Ava laughed, slightly red. Success

"Nice accent." She said, still red, then recovered. "Now, what's your name?"

He smirked "Harry."

"well Harry, why don't you come and meet my friends, they'd be very happy to meet you." A slightly unnerving smile covered her face.

Oh god...

"Sure." He shrugged but didn't put his knife away. Just in case.

Ava grinned and linked arms with him, tugging slightly, making Harry blush.

"Come on, they're this way."

Why is this happening... Was all he could think.
