Everything goes on my plan today. As expected, no sun will be seen. Heavy rain has been pouring I'm glad that I brought umbrella with me. I head towards the coffee shop— a daily routine. Exactly eight o'clock in the morning, here I am at the Café as I always come at this exact time. I already memorized the people who came at this hour too.
"Good morning! Caramel macchiato please." I ordered.
I'll just wait on my favorite spot where I am always mesmerized by the beautiful facade of this city. But... It is strange that there was someone who's already on that spot. He was reading a Patterson's-- not my type of book though. I riveted my eyes on him; clean haircut, fair skin, pointed nose and his eyes— sparkling as he was reading. Yet he seemingly look like to those boys next door style, he has something that I can't find a word to express it out.
I sat on the nearest chair and made sure of vicinity to him. I feel like I'm watching a fairy tale. A charming prince six meters away from me. My heart started to pound. He's very enchanting. Those broad shoulders where I imagine to lean on; his serious look while he reads and sparkling eyes when he stares. The moment he paused on reading, everything went slow motion as his lips touches the luckiest cup of coffee. How I wish I could be that cup of coffee! Hey! Am I just going to stare the whole day? Should I sat beside him and act like I was not aware of his existence? I wish my acting skill will work out. Act natural please. Act natural. He's just a human being with an enchanting glare. I walk towards him trembling. But as I stepped my feet, my heart started to pound loudly and gets louder the moment I was closer to him. This is it, just simply ask for a seat.
But before I could ask if the other chair was already taken, he stood up and was about to leave Wait— I wanted a chance to know his name, know him more. What is this feeling? This wasn't planned for today. In a second, I started to feel that I am alive. I am a woman who admires a man. But as I began to explore this feeling, he's already leaving. Then he already did. He had just waited for a girl to came and kissed her as she arrived.
What on the earth is this? My life is a joke. It was Gabbi, my sister who's always better than me. And I admit... she's better than me.
