(Clara's POV)

Having mixed emotions on what's going on right now is like ingredients being mixed in a mixing bowl. Riding a train to go to the main city is making me feel nostalgic, for the first time in my whole life I get to be able to wander around the city at the crack of dawn without hiding in the shadows at night. Enjoying the sun with other normal people. This is also, the first time I won't have to go back with blood on my hands.

"We are now arriving at the station, Thank you for riding with us," the speaker said and the doors opened, and out I went to go see the shore. Seeing the waves crashing on the sandy beach and the sun's rays reflecting on the water, boats going around the water, people talking like it was any normal day

I wish I was normal like them

I thought while glancing at the blue waters. Shaking my head off the thought I went into the market. Usually, at night, the stands are either closed or are about to. Now, I get to see what it was like to be getting food from small stalls on the street, selling food, clothes, artifacts, and many more.

I wish I get to see this sooner, but I'm right here now, and I will enjoy it. I'm going to let my inner child go wild.

I thought to myself as a wide smile spread across my face like a Christmas light on holidays.

(Author's POV)

As Clara was getting food at different stalls, a fight occurred in the middle of what it seems like a stall selling different kinds of artifacts. Clara heard the shouts of two men while buying a pack of sushi.

They will end up punching each other soon

"Hey I was here first," one said, "No I am," the other one said. She sighed, after buying, she went to the fight. Squeezed herself to go to the front chewing on her sushi as she watched the two bicker, then as she suspected, the two guys started to have a few bruises on their bodies. She rolled her eyes at the fight but focuses it on the stall they were fighting for. The stall carries different kinds of artifacts and jewelry ranging from all the gold that shines under the sun to the ones that are made of wood. She walked to the stall as the fight gathered a crowd, they didn't see her

"Hello there girl, would you like to buy something, if you answer this one riddle, I will give two to you free, of whatever you will choose plus a free necklace to go with your choices of artifacts. You can only get 3 chances." the old man on the counter said

"Sure, I'm always up for a challenge" she replied, he smirked.

" Mary has four daughters, and each of her daughters has a brother. How many children does Mary have?" he said that made her feel dumb. She's not that great in math let alone math riddles

"Another one please" she sighed defeated and the man chuckled

"Two in a corner, one in a room, zero in a house, but one in a shelter. What is it?"

Okay, I think this one is easy

"The letter "r"" she replied. She really is not good with riddles and the answer that she gave is just a wild guess. She looked back at the old man and he was smiling

"That is correct. Please, take 2 of anything that you want" he said as he ducked under the counter

All the things that are displayed are raging from gold to silver to wood. One thing caught her eyes though, a Katana from above of the shelves. The old man rose from under and caught her staring at the blade

"Oh you want that?" he asked as he stood on a chair and grabbed the blade. He removed it from its sheath and the tip of it sparkled from the sun's rays, catching the attention of the crowd who are watching the petty fight
