Falling for Guilty Pleasure

Chapter 1

I sat looking at my screen debating whether this is for real. I saw my acceptance letter into being a student teacher at the most superior university in my country. I couldn't believe my chances of being accepted after one year from graduating from university. I was in complete denial that I would never be able to get a job as a teacher but looking at my acceptance letter has made it a reality.

I ran downstairs to my partner with my laptop in hand. It has been a long struggle for him supporting me until I graduated. Definitely put a lot of strain on our relationship after I graduated, because he thought I wasn't trying hard enough in getting a job.

"Honey look at this, I can't believe it. Is it correct? Is this right." you yelled before landing on top of his lap.

He glared at you for interrupting his game.

"Babe can't you see I'm in the middle of a game. AH! You just made me die." he said annoyed.

"Sorry." you said back to him

You moved yourself of him and sat beside him and waited until he was done. It felt like 15 minutes have gone by before he finally acknowledge your presence.

"What is it that you were screaming about." he asked still annoyed.

You pushed your laptop in front of him and let him read it himself. You patiently waited for him to say something. He looked up at you and just smiled.

"So you finally got a job." he said finally.

You nodded at him and started squealing with happiness and joy. This is what you wanted after you graduated from university. All the hard work finally can be paid off.

He got up from his seat patted you on the head and made his way to the kitchen.

"Well, well done I guess. You won't need me supporting you anymore." he said jokingly.

You felt a little hurt at what he was saying but you just brushed it off cause you didn't want to start anymore trouble since your relationship wasn't all that good.

[ Boyfriend PoV ]

Finally she going to work. I don't think I could take it any longer. Being with her is driving me insane. Having her home all the time doesn't make it easy for me to have my ladies over.

"Well it's good that you got the position but once you start working make sure you do whatever you need to do to get things done. Even if it means staying back than usual." I said to Y/N.

I didn't want her to come home early while I have my ladies come around for a little fun time.

"Oh don't worry, I need to try my best first to show that I'm committed to the position. So the few weeks at the start I most likely will stay later. But I will text you." Y/N replied.

After having a drink I placed my cup in the sink and went back to her to give her a hug. We both snuggled on the couch while she was working on her laptop I continued to play my game as well as talking to my ladies.

[ Y/N PoV ]

I sat next to him on the couch working on my work. I can hear his phone going off non-stop but I didn't think too much about it. He was always faithful to me even if our relationship was struggling. I set up an alarm to wake me up since I had to go to the university for introduction. I continued to work until I dozed off and didn't even realise that he was no longer by your side.

[ Next day ]

I awoke from my sleep due to my alarm. I turned it off and check the time. It was still early. I checked to see if he was still with me but I saw a note on my laptop screen.
