The day He came

I woke up the next day. It was quiet ghostly quiet. I peeped down stairs. No one- nothing. Which was weird because Grant was supposed to be home today. I went down to investigate. Then walked around the corner and there he was tied up to a chair. Something hit me and it all went black.

I woke up about an hour later. In the same position as Grant i tried screaming but nothing came out. A man walked out of the living room. I thought back to there conversation from yesterday. It was him. The man that has no feelings and could care less about me and Grant. He walked up to me and smiled " hello Alexandria. Grant told you I was coming right?"

I could not say a thing. He took me into the room that i was not supposed to go in. It was huge and like an evil scientists lab on a movie. He took out a gun. Like it was supposed to intimidate her-( it did but she wasn't going to show it.) " do you know anything about your father and his whereabouts?" He asked

" I didn't even know he was alive til yesterday."

" don't lie to me!" He screamed and then slapped her across her face. i let out a faint yelp.

" I'm not, I swear!"i yelled In a shattered voice. He said nothing. He walked out of the room. He came back. ,a minute later with Grant. He was beaten and bloody..i started to cry. She was crushed seeing him this way. " Grant! --Oh my god! Stop!please!" i screamed in a now sturdy voice. The man laughed. Then took the gun and hit him in the face with it. i tried to get out of the chair. Then he pointed the gun at her. Looking down the barrel of a gun is going to break anyone. I cried and sat down as quick as possible. " that's what I thought" he laughed.

He then walked out again. we heard the door open. " see ya soon!" He said as he walked out. Me And Grant looked at each other in fear and relief.I untied myself then him. They sat there and hugged forever. Then we got up went to the living room and made a plan.
