18. Facing Reality...

Icha POV:

I was shocked by the person in front of me. RAKESH. The nightmare of my life is standing in front of me. He was the same, handsome but as cruel which I never noticed in him. I couldn't move. He smiled at me with cruelty and lust. I gulped down my saliva. I looked over his shoulder. I found Aman.

I couldn't face him. What would he think of me? He was looking at me.

I soon ran to him and hugged him.

" Aman. I didn't call him. Believe me. Please. Trust me. " I said. I was crying. He wiped my tears.

" I know. " Aman said. He took me into his arms.

" So finally you accepted this crap. " Rakesh said.

" Mind your language. " Aman said.

" Or else what you are going to do? Take me. " he said. Aman was about to move. I held him back to me. He looked at me. I nodded him a NO.

" You know if you want any tips for taking her. You can call me. I have the same number. " he said. A tear slipped out of my eye. Aman tightened his grip on me.

" Rakesh. If you leave this place as soon as possible. Or else you will have a different treatment. " Aman said. Rakesh glared at us.

" I am not gonna leave you both. " Rakesh said. He left. I cried a lot.

" Icha, don't worry. He will not come. I will protect both of you. I will not let him do anything to our child. " he said. I couldn't believe that he said OUR baby. God, what did I do to get him. I hugged him. He too hugged me. We stayed like that for a while enjoying the silence between us.

I broke the silence.

" Sorry for behaving with you like that. I am really sorry. " I said.

" It's okay. Leave it. " he said. He was about to go back in. I pulled him back.

" So shall we go out tomorrow? " I asked him. He looked totally taken back. I smiled at him.

" Sure. We can. Where do you want to go? " he asked.

" The same place. " I said. He smiled and nodded. We went in to rejoin the party.

Mayuri POV:

I saw bhai and Icha walking in smiling. So they cleared things out. I smiled at them. Soon I felt two hands on my shoulder. I turned. It was my hero.

" So what is wife smiling at.? " he asked. I pointed towards bhai and Icha. He too smiled.

" You worry too much right. " he said and kissed my cheek. I blushed. Our moment is broken by someone.

" So Mr. Jai. Who is this beautiful lady with you? " asked a tall guy. There was a lady with him who was totally eyeing my husband. I glared at her.

" She is my wife Mayuri, Mr. Raj. " Jai said. That girls face changed immediately.

" Oh great. Congratulations. " he said. We shook hands with him. I wrapped my hands around Jai's.

" Jai, shall we dance? " said that girl. Now I was fuming.

" I am honoured. But I would rather love to dance with my beautiful wife. " Jai said. And turned to me.

" Will you? " he asked extended his hand to me. I took it gladly. He walked me to dance floor. Soon, the lights went dim and slow and romantic music started.

First they played "But I can't help falling in love with you. "

Which is my favorite and too perfect for this situation. Then I saw bhai bringing Icha to the floor. Now they played.

Yeh hai ashique. My favorite serial title song. We were just lost in each other eyes. Trying to prove who loves whom the most. Obviously I won.

That was just perfect. It felt like. It was just both of us. Soon he started to in. But we couldn't share a kiss as we heard claps from all over. I hide my face in his chest. He hugged me.

Jai POV:

The moment was lovely. She was in my arms. I was lost in her mesmerizing eyes. I couldn't help but wanted to kiss her. I felt like she the one with I want to dance my all my dances. As we parted we went back to talks.

" So Jai, do you love her? " uncle, asked.

" I am not sure. But I love being with her. She makes me happy. " I said honestly. He smiled at me.

" See now my decision to get you both together is not that bad. " he patting my shoulder. I nodded.

" Then now it's your turn to make her happy. " he said. I didn't get him. He gave me a cover.

" What is this? " I asked him.

" These are tickets for you both to Paris. For your honeymoon. " he said. I was shocked. I tried to talk.

" Jai ,she did a lot for you. It's her dream to go there for her honeymoon. " he said. Then I will fulfill that.

" Thanks uncle. " I said. He smiled and went to others. I scanned the room to find her. She was talking to Icha and Aman. I walked to them.

" Can I kidnap my wife for a while? " I said. She is blushing. OMG. She looks too cute when she does that.

" Sure. But make sure that you don't hurt her. " both of them said at the same time.

" I will. " saying this I took her to balcony.

" What? " she said. I gave her the tickets. She opened.

" So you are going to Paris. When will you come back? " she asked. What?

" What? " I asked.

" When are you coming back? " she asked again. I laughed at her. She was shocked.

" Hello misses. WE are going to Paris. Not me alone. " I said. As soon as I said those words. She started jumping.

" Seriously. We are going. That too Paris. " she said. I got hold of her.

" Stop it my crazy lady. Yes we are. On our honeymoon. " I said. She looked at me and then hugged me.

" Thanks. " she said. I hugged her back.

" Thanks to you too. " I said.

" I love you. " she said. Those words are so good to hear from her. I wish I could say the same.

" I am trying. I am definitely falling for you. " I said.
