I woke up in my room, images from last night leaking into my head. I have no idea how I got in my room last thing I remember is falling asleep on Enoch's table. I run a bath and then get dressed in a dress with the top being polka dotted and the skirt being navy blue, ready to head down for breakfast.  On my way down stairs I trip and almost fall down the whole set of stairs, I close my eyes and brace myself but instead I felt a pair of strong arms around my waist. Luckily my new-found friend caught me. "Thanks Enoch, really. We all know how bad that could have ended." I say smiling kindly up at the tall boy. "Uh y-yeah no problem Lucy." he replied scratching the back of his head with a crooked smile.  At that we walk down to the dining hall to eat breakfast, I bid everyone a good morning and then silently ate my breakfast. After breakfast it was mine and Horace's turn to clean up. Horace was wiping down the table and counters as I washed the dishes for him to dry. Once I was done I started to walk to the library. I grabbed a book off of one of the shelves and laid on the couch and began to read. I heard footsteps but ignored them as it was probably just Ms. P or one of the kids.

Enoch's POV

I walked in to the library, but paused at the door seeing Lucy on the couch reading. She kept reading unbeknownst of me watching her. She kept smiling at her book, her brown eyes shining. She was amazing. She was beautiful although she doesn't know that and she is way smarter then she lets on. For some reason I notice everything she does, every move she makes. No matter what she does, every time I look at her I seem to find a smile evident on my face. She is my best friend and now the only thing to keep me sane in this world of the same day repeating over and over.

Lucy's POV

I felt that someone was watching me, not in the creepy way but in the way that someone who cares for you does. I look to the door to see Enoch there, he looked as if he was thinking. He was about to turn and leave, so I called his name as I straightened up. "Sorry if I was intruding, I didn't mean to." he said shakily. "It's okay Enoch, would you care to join me?" he thought for a moment."It's okay I was just about to head out actually." "Okay." I reply as I slump back into my previous position. He sits there for a second more before leaving. I smile at his retreating back and go back to reading. After a few minutes of deciding I don't want to read anymore, I put the book back in its rightful spot. I head in the direction of the door leading outside. As I'm walking I ponder a few questions in my head. What is going on back at my old home? Am I aloud to call this my home? What is going on with Enoch? Why is he all of a sudden getting nervous? No mind off of Enoch for a second... No matter what I did my mind always seemed to come back to him. I don't think I could ever leave here knowing that him and the others are here. As I observe my surroundings I realize that I am already at the door.  I walk outside to see Millard and Hugh playing soccer. They kept cheating as Millard was not wearing clothes so Hugh couldn't see him and Hugh was using his bees against Millard. Olive was floating up by a tree attached to a rope with Emma holding the young girl. I smiled and sat on the ground near a tree that looks as if it had just been trimmed by Fiona. After a while of just sitting and watching everybody Enoch came and sat next to me. I gave him a small smile and he returned one. We both just sit and watch the younger kids play and having fun. Me and Enoch make small talk then decide on going swimming. We walk down to the swimming hole and I pull off my cover up as he pulls off his shirt and pushes me in. I scream and hold my breath as I feel the cold of the water which is nice in this warm day. He jumps in and splashes me, once he resurfaces I splash him and then we have a splashing war. After a while we get out to dry off and put our clothes back on. We head back to the house full of peculiar's. To think a few days ago I didn't know what a family was and now I have one of my own. A family of people like me. A family of peculiar's.
