Chapter 22: The Hope Of My Dreams

 
  "Wait!" Someone shout loud enough to stop the groom and the bride kiss. There was just 1 centimeter of space for the two of them to kiss each other.

Who could it be this time?

There it was, a butler with a frustrated face while panting. It's Lily's butler to be exact.

Everybody was in shock. Even Lily's parents. I mean why not? That's the personal butler that they hired for their daughter. Adan.

He then walk through the red carpet, all eyes over him. He walk up to where the bride and groom were standing and took the microphone from the pastor's hands.

"Uhmm, Sorry for interrupting but I have to confess something...
The thing is t-that I love Lily. I know that I'm only just a butl-butler and I'm not a noble or anything. I really love her. I don't want her to get ma-married. So I refuse to let this wedding continue!!" After Adan finish with his confession Lily's father called some securities and order them to take Adan away.

Adam really gave me quite an impression. He confess bravely even though he knew the consequences. He really got the guts.

"So let's continue" said the pastor for the second time after Adan was taken away. "You may kiss the bride" that was it. It feel like reality. It's the end.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!!!"

"Ahhhhhhhhh!!!" I wake up and sit straight. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.

"Are you alright? Did you have that nightmare again?" He was wearing a small smile and gently pat my head. I just gave him a nod and spread my arms as he close the gap between us.

"It's alright. I'm not going to leave you. You are the one that I love after all." I smile at hearing his words. I put my face closer toward his chest. I could smell the vanilla from his that I love so much. I could hear his heartbeat beating for the ones that he love.
I could stay at his side as long as I want. Because he is mine.

Flashback~

"You may kiss the bride" that was it. It feel like reality. It's the end.

Jun Kai was leaning his face towards Lily's and there it was... I close my eyes not wanting to see the kiss. Seconds were passing, but there were no claps or anything. I open my eyes and saw that Lily cover Jun Kai's lips with her hand before he could kiss her.

At that moment, somehow I was really grateful for what she did. Everyone was shocked. Really shock.

She took the microphone from the pastor's hand and take a large breathe. " Sorry everyone, but I can't accept this. I can't live a life with a person that doesn't love me. I love him,but I came to realize that that feeling  I have for him was not in the romantically way. I want to also declare things clearly. I love Jun Kai because of how he treated me in the past. I was just happy that he didn't rejected me like the other used to do.

I was very weak when I was a child. I couldn't play with everyone because of my weak body. Sometimes I used to escape from my room and went to search for the other kids to play. But, everyone refused, because I was weak and if something happened to me they'll be in trouble. It was sad. But, there was a kid that didn't rejected me. It was Jun Kai. He smile and took my hand. He search and suggested everyone to play together. Even when they all rejected him, he was still smiling. He always played with me when nobody used to. So he was special.

Everybody has somebody special within their hearts right? Jun Kai, I won't marry you. Because you have someone special. And I don't want to snatch you away from her. And one last thing... Father, please take Adan here. I need to tell him something. Thanks for all of you that came here today. Thanks for listening to me. Thanks for everything."

After Lily's declaration was finished. Her parents both went and talk to Jun Kai and Lily. They talk for a while, then the daughter and her parents made a family hug. She cried, but her parents weren't angry at all. They comforted her. Jun Kai's eyes softened as he watched them all together. He smile... His smile was warm. He suddenly looked at my direction and started walking. I was so nervous that I was shaking. I could saw his face clearer as he walked closer.

"Hey" He said smiling. "Hi" I tried to be normal but failed and  blushed. "I have miss you, you know?" Jun Kai caressed my hair and said with a serious voice. I couldn't control my emotions! I missed him too! A lot of more than he did. I was just so happy that without noticing I started to cry.

My vision was blurry and couldn't saw him well, but feel the warm of two protective arms hugging me. "There, there. Don't cry, I'm here." He caressed my back with one of his hands and the other one on my head. He made my heart pound furiously. Little did I know that his was pounding furiously as mine before putting my face in his chest. After a few minutes of the good cried, I've cane to realized that everybody was still here. We are the center of the attention, it was awkward. I was embarrassing that it made me blush a furious red.

How did I forget about the people around us?!? Gosh!! So embarrassing!

Everyone clap for some reason and smiled toward us. It feels good. I was still embarrassed from what happened and hide my face in Jun Kai's chest.

That day was a loooong day. Jun Kai confessed his love for me a few days later and so did I.  We started dating since then. If you are asking what happened to Lily, she started dating Adan, yeah, the butler. They match pretty well. They're really lovely.

As Qian Xi and Shirley their relationship is getting stronger as they overcome their problems together.

Yuan and Abby are enjoying every bit of life. Haha, they're really cute together. They always go out and play.

End of flashback~

It's been four years since I've dated Jun Kai and also almost been a year since we got married.

Qian Xi and Shirley have already a two year baby boy called Luis. While Yuan and Abby have a one year baby girl called Kimberly. The babies are really cute.

Next weekend we are all going to attend on Lily's and Adam's wedding. I have been very excited for Lily. Shirley, Abby and I became good friends with Lily after all that drama.

"Jun Kai." I look at him and play with his bangs. "Yeah?" He responds half asleep. "I love you." I whisper in his ears and lean closer and peck his lips smiling. He smiles and kiss me back saying "I love you too."

Those childhoods, those memories, those smiles,those moments, I will always keep it in my heart.

So this is the hope of my dream and it became real.
