Timmy was sent to prison for life. The evidence was revealed later on that uncle timmy indeed did kill Emily father brutally. Before hand when the evidence was contained after the Autopsy someone had messed up the system which couldnt prove James guilty.
Timmy had been an assasin for years he had started in his mid 20's working for someone called "Black code". They were all arrested by the FBI except one member.
The boating company Zinc was bought by Marin grovalski. Emily still got her inheritance to last her a lifetime.
As for Emily shes put in witness protection she graduates high school and goes to NYU. As for David he orginally was accepted by BYU in Idaho but decided to transfer to NYU to be with his love. Analise goes to live with Aunt May for a bit who lives in Tucson,Arizona. She also goes to a shrink shocked after the fact her father turned out to be a pyscho path you would say.
