Ink!Sans Chapter

So someone wanted another AU of Sans, so I wrote this one rather quickly (Sorry if it isn't good enough ;c) I tried my best here, and this one will be updated more. I do promise to continue these eventually, because I want to see these stories get written! So yeah! Ink belongs to Comyet, you belong to you! 

A small yawn emerged from your lips as you followed Chara down the snowy path to Snowdin. The cheerful, blue skeleton had run off after a puzzle, and the older one had mentioned a town. Chara skipped and giggled, holding your hand while they talked extensively about their life on the surface.

"So how did you fall, Cousin?" Chara asked. That was another thing: Chara had picked the random nickname from seemingly nowhere.

"Well I was kind of just... Running," you mumbled, still weary of the child. In the back of your mind, you didn't trust them. When you looked at the human, all you saw was red and dust. Chara hadn't done anything problematic yet, but you just couldn't shake the feeling.

"From what?"

"I don't quite remember," you admit. Chara frowned, but quickly ran ahead when they spotted another puzzle. You sigh and run a hand through your hair, stopping to watch from afar. You were distracted from Chara, however. A few feet away was a large tree, perhaps it was spruce, but on the bark was a small blotch of color. You raised a brow and approached the tree, watching the color drip down. "Green paint?" you mumble to yourself, poking the substance with your index finger.

"Cousin!" Chara called, making you look over. However you were greeted by a blank scene. Chara was only a crude drawing on a wall. Startled by this, you jump back and glance around.

"Chara? Chara!"

"Wow, you're really worried about them," a voice observes, earning your attention. In front of you is a short skeleton, one who reminds you of Sans.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Sans," he introduces, bowing in greeting.

"Sans? Like the puzzle-happy skeleton from the underground?"

"Oh right! Sorry," he laughs, rubbing the back of his head. "I'm INK Sans, but you can just call me Ink then."

"Ink Sans?"

"That's my name, don't wear it out!" Ink begins giggling, clutching his stomach as he leans against his giant paintbrush. You remain in confused silence, but then you remember your companion.

"Wait, where's Chara?"

"Which one?"

"What do you mean by that?" you ask, looking back at Ink.

"Well, the one you were just with was Swap Chara. The one you first met was Original Chara." Ink nods at his explanation, almost as if he felt it explained everything. When you remained silent, he opened one eye and frowned. "Something wrong?"

"You don't make sense! Where's Chara?"

"Well Swap Chara is in the Swap Universe."

"Swap Universe?"

"That'll be hard to explain in this short amount of time," Ink chuckles, picking up his paintbrush. "Here's what I'll tell you now: the universe you're in is not the original one. Everyone you know there is just another version of the Originals." Ink pauses and draws a line in the air, you watch in amazement as it becomes a door. You can see Chara at a puzzle, they're in the same position as when you left them. "We'll meet again, (Y\N). Until then tell no one of my existence, or my job as the Protector."

"How do you know me? What's happening? Wh-" Ink gave you a shove, a playful smile on his face and watched you fall through the door. Your back hit the snow, and the only thing you could remember was walking over to a tree, though the reason had slipped your mind. You sat up and looked around, then noticed Chara running over. In the back of your mind you couldn't help but think something was missing, especially when you noticed a couple globs of paint on your sleeve and sweater.
