Chapter 5 Platinum
The morning light crept through the windows, invading the otherwise peacefully dark room. Stephanie layed dead to the world with no sign of movement anytime soon. A few different colored sheets were loosely draped around her sleeping form as she quietly murmured to herself, emetting a soft snore. She felt a breeze tickle her ear, whispering inaudibly.
"...ire"
"Sa... Ire"
"Sapphire... Did you sleep well?" A silky voice breathed close to her ear. "...Mmmn wonderfully" Sapphire moaned in post-sleep bliss. She hugged the blankets closer to her, breathing in deeply. A sweet smell invaded her senses, urging her to open her eyes.
Fluttering open her eyes were met by two onlookers. A blush formed on her face as she realized the tantilizing experience she had last night was with the pair... Not to mention, sir June. Her eyes traveled from June to Her.
"I don't suppose you remember me?" She smirked at Sapphire.
Sapphire smiled.
"Platinum" the Dirty blonde said, sticking out her hand. Sapphire took ahold of her hand, and was swiftly pulled out of bed, sheet falling between the two girls. Sapphire gasped, pressed up against each other.
"W-what?"
"Don't take this the wrong way, but..." Platinum leaned closer "get out."
With a push Sapphire was out the door. Looking down at herself, her face reddens. Knock. Knock. Knock.
"Someone didn't get the message."
Sapphire gave Platinum a small push.
"Sent, and received."
Strutting naked, through the doorway she picked up her clothes. Platinum handed her the disregard underwear.
"I could use a little spice in my life" Platinum locked eyes with Sapphire. She snatched her underwear away and walked out with not so much as a glance back. Something about her agitates me. Stephanie stomped into the main room putting on her panties, and clutching her heels in one hand. Her dress a mess of wrinkles on her body.
Upstairs the ice cream shop was closed. Her bare feet padded to the car in the early morning light, as she got into the drivers seat.
Driving back to her empty apartment, her thoughts wondered. 'She was so gentle last night, what happened with her today?' Picturing the Platinum Blonde in her head. 'Never mind that, I'll see if My new friend Alexandra wants to go shopping again. That's sure to Brighten My mood.'
Stephanie sat at the Kitchen counter toast in one hand, phone in other, as she texted Alexandra.S: "Any plans 4 today?"
A: "A bit of light gardening"
S: "I can help you with that Gardening Little Lady, gives us more time to go shopping today... That is, if you would like to."
A: "You have a funny way of inviting Me out 4 a Girls Day."
S: "Is that a YES i hear?"
A: "It's a, Most Definatly."
S: "See you at Noon M'lady?"
A: "Absolutly, Meet me at the front gate on Sunset Avenue
S: "It's a date."
A: ";)"
Stephanie set Her phone on the Coffee Table and began to get ready. She raided Her wardrobe with a pep in Her step, preparing to meet Her Princess Charming.
In the end, settling on a Navy Blue dress, White pumps, and a White Sailor Hat. Grabbing Her Blue, and White stripped Purse Stephanie walked to Her car. 'First a pit-stop at My Mothers House' Stephanie thought checking the time.
Pulling up to a Big White House, She pulled the keys out of Her car. Walking up to the Front, She rang the Doorbell.
A bunch of banging around, and barking can be heard. The door opens. "Stephanie! Look! Look! I got an A+! Now Mommy is putting it up on the Fridge!" Amula shared excitedly.
Stephanie smiled "That's Great Honey, stick to it and You'll be a Rocket Scientist when You grow up. Something a bit cooler than Your Photographer Sister, Just a bit."
"I think your cool Sister Stephanie" Amula's Twin Brother Amulet, said. He hugged His Older Sister.
"Awww thanks Little Bro, but don't call Me Sister Stephanie. Makes Me sound too much like a Nun, and have you ever seen Me in an ankle length dress?" Stephanie laughed.
"Good Point" said Amulet.
"Dinner Time Children!" The little Ginger haired Twins scampered off.
'Look how they've grown. I remember when they were only 2 and flinging their Dirty Diapers at each other, now they're almost 10. How time passes.'
Stephanie walked into the Dinning room "MaMa Dearest, How's Big Ben?"
Cathryn Gave Her Daughter a look "It wasn't funny the first time you said it, let alone the second. Ben is doing well though..."
"Yaaaa! Really Well!" Amulet giggled.
"Enough of that!" Cathryn scolded.
"Oooh! Shhhhhhhh!" Amulet looked at His Sister and put His index finger up the His lips, shushing Amula.
Stephanie could tell they were hiding something from Her.
"Spit it out already" Stephanie pleaded.
"What are you talking abou-"
"Mommy, and Ben are getting Married!" Amula blurted out.
'She never was that good at keeping secrets, Lucky for Me.'
Stephanie crossed Her arms.
"So... You were just- Not going to invite Me? Mother?"
"You always make such a BIG scene, Stephanie Starlight. This is why I wasn't going to invite You. Or did you forget what happened during My first Wedding? Took ages to get the stain out of the carpet" Cathryn complained.
Stephanie was rendered speechless for a moment, unable to comprehend Her own Mothers level of selfishness.
"How could you say that after what happened that night?!" Stephanie Angrily Whispered to Cathryn.
"Not the time, or the place Darling" Cathryn said, glancing in the direction of the Twins.
Stephanie took a breath.
Stephanie gave Amula, and Amulet a kiss goodbye.
Without looking back, She got into Her car. Stephanie cranks up the Radio. 'Time to change My tune. Don't let the Haters Win- And other cheessy Quotes... Coming to You now... From My Brain...' Stephanie flipped stations until She found a Killer Jam.
'1985- Bowling For Soup' She sang along, until She reached Sunset Avenue.
"Alexandra?" Stephanie's mouth fell wide open.
"Did it take you a moment to recognize Me?" Alexandra asked, blushing.
Stephanie stared at Her new look, mesmerizes by Her beauty "You changed Your Hair."
"Do you like it?" Alexandra squeaked, face as pink as a piglet.
"Like it? I-I-Love it! Wow, your hair is so Blonde it's practically White! It makes you look Angelic" Stephanie gushed, getting out of the car.
She smiled at Stephanie "Thank You, your looking quite good yourself."
Alexandra stood by the gate of a very well off Beige House, tall enough to be a small apartment building.
In reality this was the Home of the Moderately rich couple Alexandra, and June. Both came from Wealth.
Alexandra led Stephanie through the large gates, looking adorable in Her White Strapless Dress. Fixing the White Fur Cap on Her head, that was obviously fake, Alexandra linked arms with Stephanie.
'O'Mylord! Is this really happening?Am I downright Delusional? Who cares? I'm linking arms with the Worlds Cutest Girl.'
Both Girls walked at a similar pace, probably because of the High Heels adoring Their feet.
"So this is the Garden?" Stephanie commented, "What a wonderful place, I see you have a variety of fruits, and flowers."
Alexandra led Her to a little White table "Thank you I planted all the flowers myself. I was thinking we could have lunch together first."
Stephanie looked at the wide assortment of treats, Tiny Fruitcakes, and Finger Sandwiches, with Tea. Lets not forget, Kabobs, and a Fruit Tray.
"Come. Sit. You look famished."
Stephanie's stomach gave a small growl, indicating she was Hungry.
Both Ladies sat down.
Staring off into the very Alice in Wonderland type Garden, Stephanie became lost in Her train of thought. She ate while starting off into the distance 'Don't make a Scene Stephanie Starlight- clink your glass, and put on a smile for this occasion.'
If only I could turn back time...
A Pure White Rabbit hopped through the Hedges, with a Pocket Watch around its neck.
Stephanie took off after it, screaming "Rabbit! Pocket Watch!"
A bewildered Alexandra ran after Her.
"Wait! What about Tea?!" Alexandra yelled, throwing Her Heels behind Her.
"He'll have some, if we're Lucky!" Stephanie yelled back.
"Your Crazy!" Alexandra screamed, letting out a bout of laughter.
The two Girls ran around Hedge after, Hedge. Laughing, playing, looking for Adventure... They eventually caught up to the Rabbit with the Pocket Watch.
Only, Alexandra got lost.
"Would you like some Tea?" Stephanie Whispered, cuddling Him.
"Don't mind if I do, M'lady" A rugged voice said.
Stephanie looked up at the Red haired God standing above Her. Between the Stubble, and the Suit it was pure perfection. Yet you could tell underneath the Suit was pretty impressive too. 'Who is this Godly Man? Looks like He walked straight out of a movie. Damn, call Me Jennifer Lawerence, cause I'd love to have a sex scene with Him.'
"Hello?" He said, trying to get Stephanie's attention. She blinked a few times "Hmmm?" Stephanie said.
"I said, I'm August, Hello there, and that Rabbit your holding, has stolen My Pocket Watch" August explained.
"Awww, but it's so cute on Him. I thought He was the White Rabbit."
"Seriously?!" August burst out in laughter "You thought He was the White Rabbit?!"
Stephanie pouted at that Remark "I'll have you know, I grew up on fairytales. Alice was My favourite."
"HaaaaaaHaaHaaaaa! Oh, I'm sorry!" August let out a last laugh "You've convinced Me, it's all His. Looks better on Him anyways."
Stephanie turned Her pout into a smile. "The Gentleman admits the truth, and looks quite dapper while doing so" She said to August, with a wink.
"Besides You had to find out one of these days, that a Rabbit pulls off jewelry better then You."
August turned back around to look into Stephanie's eyes. Stephanie stood up, noticing He was a good 2 Feet taller then Her in height.
"What's Your Name?" August asked, firmly grabbing Stephanie's chin, and tilting Her head up.
"Stephanie" She replied.
"So Steph, Would You like to go out with M-"
"-No, No, No, She's Mine" Alexandra said, as she found Her friend getting wooed by June's Cousin.
"Oh Hello Alexandra, how are you?" August asked, innocently.
Stephanie was blushing off to the side now, as Alexandra, and August butted heads.
"Cut the small talk, what are you up to?" Alexandra question.
"I was just inviting Her out to eat, no motive. A Girl has to have nourishment if I'm not wrong. Plus She is just so... Unique" August answered, glancing at Stephanie from behind Alexandra.
"Well... Find your own Unique! I found Her First!" Alexandra argued.
Stephanie stepped in "We are best friends, right?"
Alexandra answered "Of course."
"Then what's the harm if I go out with August? We'll always be friends."
Alexandra forced a smile "I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking" She lied to Stephanie. She did know what She was thinking. She wanted to be more than friends with Stephanie, both Alexandra and June wanted that. They had planned on asking Stephanie out after the two Ladies had their Lunch, and Shopping Spree.
Alexandra's Heart Broke a little, at the rejection. 'We'll always be friends' Even that hurt a little.
"Well... If that's all Stephanie, and I should get back to shopping" Alexandra told August, with a slight edge in Her voice.
The two Woman linked arms, and began to go back to where they came.
Alexandra gave August a dirty look, over Her shoulder, one that August returned.
