"Giles you can't be serious."

"I'm very serious Buffy."

"You want me to go back in time a couple of years just to stalk a random boy?"

"Not just any random boy, he defeated Voldemort."

"I'm sorry, he defeated what now?"

"Voldemort. The most dangerous and darkest wizard there has ever been."

I rolled my eyes at Giles. It's not like it was big news. This happened in the past and apparently this boy was STILL famous for it. I defeated horrible things all the time but have I ever gotten any recognition for it? Nope.
I decided to quietly say the slayer speech quietly while Giles zoned out reading a book.

"In each generation there is a chosen one. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons and the forces of darkness. She is the slayer."

Well... that wasn't exactly true. My friends knew about me being a slayer and they would help a lot. I however could not understand why I had sudden jealous and hateful feelings towards this boy I had never met.

"Buffy?"

"Huh? Oh. Sorry, what were you saying?"

"The reason you're being sent back in time, is to protect this boy."

"Protect him from what? He's already defeated Vold guy whatever-"

"Buffy. Let me finish."

I breathed and relaxed myself. Giving Giles the signal that he could carry on.

"Demons, vampires, Gods and Goddesses are going back in time to try kill Harry Potter. Now he can't know about this because it will distract him from defeating Voldemort, so you must do your very best to not let him see them."

"But why are they-?" I knew straight away, Voldemort was going to open the hellmouths.

"Buffy it is very important that once you're in the past in Hogwarts, that you make sure Harry never sees you or speaks to you.'

"Yes Giles, I know the deal."

"You can take Willow with you, Xander would probably blow your cover. You must stay unnoticed to everyone. By tomorrow morning I will have a way for us to communicate. Now you must rest. You leave in the afternoon tomorrow."

I nodded and walked away exhausted. Being unnoticed was going to be hard considering how often I got into trouble. I swore to myself that this strange school called Hogwarts would not get blown up.
