The Affairs

I was home alone Jake was supposed to be home three hours ago, I began to worry thinking maybe he was in an accident, I called him, when he answered he said "hello" like he was out of breath i said "are you okay? where are you"? he said "I'm working late" i was upset i knew he was lying he never works late... i said "ok" and he hung up.
It was five in the morning when he finally got home. I was getting ready for work when he came up behind me and put his arms around me, i said "where have you been"? Jake said he stayed at a hotel twenty minuets away from work. I stared at Jake with a weird feeling in my stomach, I could tell he knew there was something wrong but he said nothing.
I got home from work and Jame wasn't home yet but that was normal i always git home before him. Jake got home at the normal time tonight. I had dinner on the table because i thought we could have a nice dinner date. Jake and I talked for hours and I thought "he's not having an affair" we watched a movie after dinner, we were cuddling on the couch, we even made out for a wile, we didn't take it any farther. I had a good night and I didn't even have a thought about last night.
