"Make sure to call us three times a week, and keep us constantly updated!" called a voice. "We'll miss you!" yelled a second, more masculine voice.
"Mom, Dad. I'll be away in school for a while, but I won't disappear off the face of the earth!" Naomi said back before boarding her plane, her parents crying behind her.
Once she found a seat, Naomi looked out the window.
"It's time. It's time I leave my home and go study what I want!" she thought to herself.
"Welcome aboard the airplane! Our destination is currently London, England. The flight will take about ten and a half hours," said the flight attendant.
Naomi took her portable game system out of her carry-on bag.
"It's finally time to change my life!"
