Don't Go... (Hunhan)

Chapter 7: Hero

Hero

     "Uhmm... Did I miss out something?" Kai asked right after he came back and saw the cute little figure.

     "Oh, Kai. I'm sorry. I found out that you looked for me. Well, anyway, this is Do Kyungsoo, a friend of mine," Sehun spoke out. Kai just gave the boy a blank stare.

     "Why are you the one introducing him? Can he not speak?" Kai asked a bit bitterly. Everyone looked at him with wide eyes but among them, Kyungsoo had the widest.

     Kai chuckled so girlish. "I'm just joking. Hi! I'm Kim Jongin, Joonmyeon-hyung's little brother. Just call me Kai. Nice to meet you," he said surprisingly & stuck out his slightly shaking hand.

     "N-nice to meet you, too," Kyungsoo said in a low volume as he shook hands with Kai a bit reluctantly.

     On the process, they were startled by some grumbling noise. It was an uproar from Chanyeol's stomach. Everybody then laughed at that and the kinda embarrassed Chanyeol.

     "Hahaha! I guess, we need to take our lunch already!" Baekhyun suggested. He didn't want to let his bestfriend starve, eh?

     They finally decided to order lunch. All of them left their seats except Kyungsoo and Sehun. When the four came back with their trays of lunch, they saw two lunchboxes on the table.

     "Sehun, you changed your lunchbox again? You've just changed it recently, right?" Kai asked after noticing the unfamiliar lunchbox in front of Sehun.

     "Aah. Nope. This one's not mine. It's Kyungsoo-hyung's," the younger replied.

     "And that one is his, too?" Chanyeol curiously asked, pointing to the box of food in front of Kyungsoo.

     "Yes," blankly, he replied.

     "He brought two lunchboxes? Aww... He's so thoughtful, Sehun-ah. What a good friend we have here," Baekhyun commented and both Kyungsoo & Sehun pulled their lips into a smile.

     "Actually hyung, he brings two lunchboxes a day since bullies take it away. The remaining one is really for him. But today, he decided to give it to me and I gladly accepted," Sehun explained.

     "You're being bullied? Ahh... Coward bullies. Don't worry, we're now here to protect you. Next time, put poison to the other lunchbox," commented Chanyeol. Kyungsoo bit his lip at the first sentence, smiled at the third and laughed at the last.

     "Awww... He laughs so cutely!" Baekhyun fanboyed.

     "Uhmm... Thanks, Chanyeol-hyung. Thanks, Baekhyun-hyung."

     "You're welcome," said the two simultaneously. "Let's eat. The Kim brothers ate already." The derp-faced suggested.

     They ate their lunch while they had some chitchat. Kai was unusually quiet while Suho only spoke a little. The others didn't know what happened or what's wrong with the two. However, they went on talking to avoid awkward silence.

     Kyungsoo was  praised for his excellent skills in cooking. The food in the lunchboxes tasted so good and the others had some of it since Sehun was generous enough and shared it to them. They all ate it except Kai. Yes, he really was acting weird. They all went to the washroom after finishing and again, except Kai. He stayed there and just opted to look over their bags. When they came back, they noticed that Kai's plate became empty. Maybe he ate the Kimchi spaghetti from Kyungsoo. Or maybe he threw it. The bell rang and it's time to separate ways.

     "Sehun, Kai, did you exchanged spirits?" Baekhyun asked in a joke. The bronze-skinned just smirked, waved his right hand and left them behind.
